The rain has gone from slush to ice. We have a company christmas lunch in an hour, and I really dont feel like working. A good time to be at home, curled up with a skydiver, drinking and watching movies. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Dude....you are so lucky....she is even saving your ass over the internet. Damn.... for the record dave quit IMing me, since he was out of batteries, just to come here and post about it...

Yeah, yeah, I see your point. US = government, blah... But who manages it? Do any of us contribute to the park we use? Typically, no. Will we be there to gaurd the fenceline from unfriendlies seeking access? Somone has to manage the property, and they deserve Christmas too, not walking hundred of miles of fence line because someone wants to hike while the president is in the area. This is no different than limiting airspace over Crawford, TX when he is home. It just make sense. If it was open, someone would be whining about the tax payer money being spent to patrol it. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

You mean the government close land that belongs to them? Those bastards, who would have thought. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Well....I got an answer for you, but not around Waller. The only place I know that will be open is Eagle Flight Skydiving in Granbury. I think even SDD is closed. But everyone I know will be at Eagle Flight to ring in the new year. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Yep, spot on point. A year ago, I would have seen it differently. But I know from practice it is a fruitless pursuit. Don't go looking for anything, you will create ghosts, and never feel like you answered the last question. My realization was that if you love an trust someone...you trust what they do for whatever reasons they had. If you don't then why are you with them. On the flipside, if a SO got very protective preemptively about keeping something private, I wonder a bit, and ask some questions of myself and them. But that instance should not be the solitary basis. Often you ruin even small sweet surprises by looking too close. Love is magic, don't try to explain it or examine it, just feel it, believe in it, and never doubt or forsake it. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Wow, nice list to start with. I will add: Benchmade Knives Yokohama Tires (car) Metzeler Tires (bike) PD Reserves Lite-On DVD/CD-RW drives Skechers shoes Kodak/Fuji film Lee Dungarees and Performance Khakis Harley bikes (but not apperal) Lindby Custom chrome work Ivory Soap ATI video cards Leave off: New Balance, Michelin Generally, I tend to research any purchase that is more than a souvenir or visually appealing. In those type of purchases, brand name can often mean a lot, as much preference as quality. The whole HD thing has gone WAY too far. I collect HD shirt, but only when the image is nice. I hate being a billboard with no message. And I HATE west coast choppers shirts. I own this instead: http://www.wickedjester.com/ownbike.gif So, typically there is something to be said for barnd loyalty on things you have a preference on. Brand of orange juice or toilet paper....meh. But I guess I have a lot of opinions.

I am thinking maybe the first time I ever met you was at a Memorial Boogie at the old Ennis dz, probably about late winter/early spring 00/01 after Jerry passed. Had big dinner, even old ?Slovak? was present. I think Dennis was there along with all the old Ennis regulars. Edit: Speak of the devil....Dennis just walked into my office, told him you said hi. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Dennis the menace is indeed back...saw him yesterday. He was one of my SL JMs along with Dave, we were on the same first load actually. Dennis, Wayne, Fuller, and Doc pretty much make up the wealth of stories that from when we started. It was these stories that were part of mystery of the sport when we started. I still love the nostalgia and the 'good ole days' more than most things about the sport. Anyway, as for the particular jump in question...one of many stories about Dennis...there had been a particularly 'enjoyable' night before the said tandem. Not that this was really out of the ordinary for Dennis and crew. Anyway, they get out to make the tandem, I think Wayne was TM, not sure. IN the video you see Dennis start to film the tandem, then he rolls over on his back, and you see a stream of puke ascending into the blue yonder. Then he rolls back over and shoots the tandem. That is the story as I know it, althought it might have better enhancements if told by someone who was there. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

fun answer - toys http://dainties.com/CTGY/huggers real answer - something about muscle tension, myo-something I can't remember. Kinda like nutsacks get tight or not. I would suspect they get soft, so they dont go raw rubbing on stuff. Heck I don't know really...I just play with them. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Just ebay one cheap...heck you can buy another drive a lot cheaper than doing data recov. Not sure on Quantums, but the WDs, just have these little jelly conductive things between the board and the drive, replacing is a snap. -- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.

Well. due to some stuff I am not happy about. I am going to Houston Sunday night - Tuesday evening. Poor planning on the part of the customer, and of course they are always right, even with last minute testing the week before Christmas.
