I agree, make sure you demo a few canopies. I was looking at the Saber-II, but I ended up buying a Hornet-170 (PISA). If flew very similar to the Saber-2; although the Saber dives more & gets longer swoops...which I'm not at that level yet. Especially for someone coming off student status & will end up downsizing in a yr or so...look at a Hornet. They sell for 910 on sale (new) & can be bought cheaper if used. It's a fun canopy to fly, yet forgiving when u make a mistake. Good luck...let us know what end up getting. Have fun & stay safe. **I'm a Pschydiver! Majdi

Congrats brother. Keep playing w/ the canopy; you'll figure out when to flare. If all else fails, ask someone to put u on radio to tell u when to flare or have someone tape your landing. Most of my friends would do that for free for anyone at our DZ. Be safe & have fun **I'm a Pschydiver! Majdi

When I do hop & pops from 4k or 4.5k...I always give myself 5-10 seconds before I wave off & pull. It gives me a chance to ensure a stable position & GROUND RUSH! I'm under a full canopy by 2500. **I'm a Pschydiver! Majdi

Arthur, I realize there isn't anything that I can say that will heal your wounds or make your grandfather better. I just wanted you to know that u are in our thoughts. I'll agree w/ Clay, make sure you speak what's on your mind to help you get closure down the road. Just remember, there is nothing wrong w/ crying & letting it out & at times it helps let out some tension or built in stress...crying is a normal emotion...just like laughter. You can always turn to us as a family for comfort & a shoulder to lean on. Jessica, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your grandma. I ordered my wings @ 30% off from www.para-service.com. A Wings container w/ an articulated harness start @ 930 or just the container (w/ no options) @ 840. This month, they are also offering free rigging/assembly if u order a canopy w/ it. Wings at this price are as low as a Dolphin, only better quality, design & freefly friendly. Also, only Mirage & Wings makes the container w/ seperate main/reserve sizes so that you won't have to compromise the size of your reserve if you like your main small. I stopped renting from them a while ago! I was filling out a membership application...they were happy w/ just my license & a credit card...w/ home info & phone number; the usual. The manager caught a glimpse of my MILITARY ID & all the sudden demanded an address & phone number to my Commanding Officer to keep on file!!!!!!!!!! I was SSSSSOOOOOOoooooo pissed!
