so what would you think of 'coating' them with beeswax to smooth out the fuzzies on this problem canopy I have? I can't find anywhere that strictly forbids that and I know it's an old trick for fuzzy lines on mains. Scars remind us that the past is real

so an honest question for all of you who answer brains and personality - would you give up sex to be with someone who is extremely intelligent and has a great personality? Scars remind us that the past is real -
sorry - that would have been good info - they are dacron lines Scars remind us that the past is real

So I'm debating - I just opened up a dolphin container with a PD-176 in it. The reserve is in great shape with one exception - the previous rigger let the line stows get caught between the velcro closures. So on all the lines at two places, individual strands are pulled out, loops everywhere and overall fuzzy in appearance. I eyeballed everyone, massaged back in all I could - I didn't see any broken strands but there is still fuzz- no where near as bad, but still... Okay to pack? Send to PD? I'm thinking okay to pack since no strands are broken but it's better safe than sorry. I'd love to hear opinions from other riggers. I'm searching Poynters now for any insight. Thanks to all, S. to give you an example - you always double glove when working with HF. We had a guy from Zimbabwe (know it all fucker) that didn't double glove. He had a pin hole in the index finger of the left hand glove. Idiot stuck his finger in the HF...WHY? we don't know but it for a brief second. Result? He's missing his index finger on the left hand from the acid that got through the pin hole in the brief second his finger was in the acid.... don't be that person.... Please be careful!!!! I know more than one person missing fingers because of that stuff. Make sure you have all the supplies you need to treat HF burns around. Scars remind us that the past is real

If you could design the perfect rig...

Yep, saw it at the BPA AGM this year. The whole container, mudflaps and legstrap covers were clear plastic. Looked absolutely bizzare. what about a transparent canopy.... "Look mom - that person is levitating...." Scars remind us that the past is real -
There aren't. There are, however, some incredibly good riggers you can learn from. A large majority of the riggers out there today didn't learn from a school, they learned by being a rigger apprentice with a seasoned rigger at their DZ or at a DZ near by. thats the key word. Even though its within my priviledges to sign off on pack jobs now - there's no way in hell I would even think about it at this point. Find someone that has been around the block. I've got several but I'll start with the easy one So a random is one point - so worth one point. A block is a point, an inter and a point. So is a block worth 1 point (the total thing), 2 points since there are two formations, or 3 points since you have to do the inter correctly??? 1, 2, or 3??? Scars remind us that the past is real

whatever you guys are doing - it's working. You thoroughly stomped our asses the last meet. We emailed Randy about moving the meet to the weekend of the 15th but that is a no go. So we're done for the season. We thought about picking up two other team members but it wouldn't be the same team. So we're getting ready for next year.

you run marathons Arvel???? I've run one and am thinking about another one. I'd love to the Corps marathon but its almost impossible to get a slot now. Scars remind us that the past is real

The instrument is a JEOL JXA-8500F electron microprobe analyzer. It's basically an SEM with spectrometers hung on it so it can do WDS in addition to EDS. I do mostly quantitative chemical analyses with it, the biologists are wanting to take pretty pics and the nano guys are wanting to do lithography (as well as pics).
