A well sewn zipper. I replaced a jumpsuit zipper a few weeks ago and missed a TINY bit of the fold over where an inside pocket was sewn to the zipper. It irked the crap out of me to no end even when I didn't see it. I guess I was just surprised at how much it irritated me... So I stole the jumpsuit back, fixed it and now I can sleep at night. well, thanks for all the responses. The upshot of all this is I just need to get myself to a tunnel to get some grade A coaching and find out for myself.

Really??? Check my classifieds edit to add: as to what caused the blow up, it could be a number of things. I guess first off I'm really surprised it could open hard enough to do that kind of damage. The 190 I alluded to above opens so slow I don't do anything more than just push the nose in a bit and make sure the slider is quartered and the openings are super slow and soft. Either way you go, I'm glad you're alright. Good job saving yourself. Scars remind us that the past is real

Yes, someone would be present from the league (Dan the man himself) and we'd be out of sight of the other teams - different loads and all. What would you say to letting Luckiest Guy compete the weekend before the meet, sealing the video and draw and/ letting the tapes be judged on the day of the meet? This would enable us to compete as the original team for one more meet before we lose two team members. Team Pffft has given their blessing for this, and all we need to give this a shot is to get the approval of the other rookie class teams. Dan has agreed to take this up with Skyleague if everyone in rookie class is in accord. So, what say you? Care to keep the fires burning in CaSL Rookie class? By the way, I could have done more under Jumper03's login, but chose to keep it sane. Hopefully this'll learn him about logging his account OUT when not in use. Scars remind us that the past is real

This one concerns fall rate. A little back ground first - Our team nick name is the feather butts - avg fall rate is around 104 mph. I've got baggy cotton forearms on my RW suit and I have them out there to catch as much air as possible and also wear a t-shirt over my jumpsuit for some more drag. Two of the other team members wear weights. So between all of that we can stay on level. My question is - I want to bring my arms into the mantis so I can turn quicker - can I fly that slow in that position? Or I guess a more basic question - how much faster do you fall in the mantis vs. arms out? Scars remind us that the past is real
