    I agree with you, but it presents us with one of those kinds of moral dilemmas like the Kobayashi Maru test in Star Trek - there really isn't a clear cut solution to this problem. As I was trying to point out earlier, it all comes down to questions of one's judgement and acceptance of responsibility. The problem I see here is that we are becoming less and less responsible every day (in many more aspects of life than just skydiving). I can easily see why Ron gets so agitated and short with people.     I have to disagree dave. One morning I got to the dropzone and I don't know why, I just felt that there was going to be a cut-away that day and if I went up it was going to be me and it wouldn't be pretty. So I sat my happy ass on the ground, talked with the riggers all day, learned a heap of stuff and sure enough - there was a cut-away. As soon as that happened - it was off to board the plane for the next load Can't explain it - but when that little voice starts talking - sometimes you better pay attention.     So? I guess I'm missing your point. Another analogy then would be, say I'm having a cookout in 2 weeks and the grocery story is running a one day special on baby back ribs for $0.10/lb - a killer deal. I don't need the ribs for two weeks but do I pass this up and wait and pay a much higher price? Same with the canopy, if I see a good deal on a canopy I eventually want to end up on but am not ready to jump right now, why should I be refused the right to buy it?     yeah... but she fails to mention some choice parts. I'm scrubbing dishes after getting MY beer confiscated and I hear this belch - something you'd expect to hear out of a 300 lb bald guy with acres of back hair - we're talking 100+ on the decibel scale I turn around expecting to see shamu or maybe a baby elephant that some how snuck in and there she is - all tiny and cute with a grin from ear to ear.     How long have you been at Bragg? Rick's was the place to be a few years ago. Closed down when the city started revamping downtown. No idea if it's still alive or not. I know Boston's population swells each fall but most of those people vote at home, not where they go to school. So if its not a hoax - where did the iq numbers come from?     I've been thinking about picking up a sewing machine on ebay or at a flea market to practice my sewing so I can concentrate on other things when I take the riggers course. A search turns up so many types, brands etc. So, what type do you all use the most? Any recommendations as to a type for someone just learning? Are there any features I should look for?
