?? Not in my neck of the woods. The whole idea was NO CONTACT with the jumper in front or in back of you until you cross the threshold of the door. Anything else lacks ... purity. Yep! Ain't nuttin like single-file, no-show exit and then the star builds with high-speed level docks. Half the fun is keeping the formation together during the docks while the star is deforming and reforming like a rubber band. I think the "star" could "take" this kind of punishment better than some other formations. My favorite!

While watching these with your date you will feel trapped in the theater. Waves of panic will overcome you as you search for the exit and try to plan your escape. Until genetic engineering in humans is perfected, I think sterilization is the immediate answer. Otherwise we run the risk of further infestation of this disease. And if a cure is discovered, future generations can benefit greatly as inoculations can be a requirement for school enrollment. Just for accuracy... your reply should be to Gravitymaster.

Then why didn't one of them tell him it's not in there? Instead, they go looking for it. Considering what they said in response, my guess is something was lost in translation and they were confused by the question. What they might have understood the question as was something like "tell us what justifies your martyrdom." I don't know if you've ever had do deal with translation issues, but any time a person tries to work idiom into a conversation, it generally doesn't go well. Yeah, That hits the nail on the head. No sense banging your head against the wall trying to get someone to get a clue. Sometimes it's like pissing in the wind.

Don't attempt to remove an arrow from a raccoon unless you are sure it's dead. When we were kids my friend shot a raccoon with a bow & arrow. When he went to retrieve the coon and his arrow he found out the hard way that the animal was just "playing possum".

Please, please don't call it a ripcord. If you plan on skydiving again, it's only going to get you laughed at. Pilot chute. Pilot chute. Pilot chute. Good job on watching your altimeter, though. Other acceptable terms are "chute rope" or "stopping rope". Example: People on the ground yelling, "Oh my god! Pull your chute rope!" Then they would yell, "Hook it!, Hook it!" -

Yeah, taking it to an extreme, a black hole's gravitational field can have a very large "gradient" across atomic distances. So? Maybe some energy could be extracted from the so-called "Hawking radiation". A virtual particle/antiparticle pair appears, because of a vacuum quantum fluctuation, near the event horizon and one of them is sucked into the black hole and the other is emitted as radiation before they can zap each other. I suppose that is one way to "extract energy from the existence of gravity..." because of a gravitational gradient. Probably wouldn't be very useful for weight reduction, space drives or skydiving in the near future though.
