  1. Training and usage is a different thing entirely. You guys make valid points. I honestly can't say that its never been marketed as a non-lethal weapon. I've just never seen it marketed as such. I just see it as an option LEOs wouldn't have otherwise. Batons, pepper spray, and cs just aren't as effective. One year during NBC training I stepped into the gas chamber for a nice dose of cs to find a Gunnery Sgt. standing there without a gas mask smiling like a real asshole. People have different levels of tolerance for pain. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  2. Yep....and I'll say it in front of her. She can't resist me so I say and do what I want. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  3. Nice. And not 30 minutes after my dad just offered me a free United ticket he wasn't going to be able to use. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  4. People need to understand that tasers are classified as a "less than lethal" weapon and can cause serious injury or death. IF a LEO warns you that he will tase you...it is because YOU are uncooperative and YOU need to start cooperating otherwise YOU risk serious injury or death. I understand we'd love it if our police officers had a safer more effective option but at the moment this is what we have. Do we prefer to remove that option? BTW I've never heard it called a non-lethal weapon and took a cursory look at taser's website and saw no mention of this. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  5. Very true. I actually bought my first one at gamestop along with an additional $50 1 year warranty. I am currently on my 4th console in 2 years and have only 1 month left on the current warranty. Yes I know there is a M$ warranty but M$ would have only warrantied 1 of my systems. The other two would have cost me $240 total to have repaired by them. So with the $50 warranties I'm actually ahead plus no down time for shipping and repairs since they replace on the spot. Even though my current one is still working it actually has some minor problems with the drive that worthy of replacement. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  6. One thing we have to remember is our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan are not stupid. They are simply underfunded. They understand how powerfull propaganda can be and know how to use our own frothy mouthed rabid dog media against us. IMO the entire Haditha incident smelled fishy from the beginning. Something just didn't seem right and as it turns out the source of information the media used regarding this incident were known insurgent propaganda agents. How foolish are we to have fallen for it? After reading the article does anyone here still think Staff Sgt. Wuterich and Lt. Colonel Chessani are guilty? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  7. It seems there are some details missing to your story. I don't believe any soldier, marine, or sailor in his right mind would continue to allow his comrades to be at risk if he had the power to stop it. However if stopping it allowed him the opportunity to take a prisoner OR execute the enemy even though they had dropped their weapon and surrendered then anyone in his right mind would take the enemy combatant prisoner. As a non-combat veteran... I couldn't live with myself executing anyone especially a child. In the same respect I couldn't live with myself if I took an unneccessary risk that got a buddy killed. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  8. I didn't miss it but an unfriendly neighbor can turn into an unruly neighbor and possbily even graduate to incarcerated neighbor. I guess I see things beyond just $$$$ www.FourWheelerHB.com
  9. hah I figured you misread it. Oh btw you'll be happy to know I slowed down during my road trip this weekend and managed an additional 6 mpg. But damn it is it excruciating and people really hate it when I draft them. Not many nascar fans out here I guess. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  10. Sounds like an act of god or mother nature to me. It wasn't like his negligence caused your car damage. Not worth ruining a neighborly relationship over IMO. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  11. Biodiesel and straight oil are different. I wouldn't recommend running an engine on straight oil. Biodiesel isn't a problem on the other hand. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  12. The technology is out there. We just have to buy it. Just an example I sae in the last popular mechanics... http://www.cyclonepower.com/ www.FourWheelerHB.com
  13. I was raised with the freedom to make my own choice. I even had an open enough mind to attend church a couple times with a friend when I was 7 years old. All it did was leave a bad taste in my mouth. No it wasn't Catholic you sick ass! My mother is buddhist and practiced regularly while I was growing up. She'd ask if I wanted to pray with her and every single time I would just say not thanks and walk away. To her credit she never got angry about that. How awesome is that? Encouragement without the pressure. I think I turned out ok. Unfortunately I'm supposedly going to hell. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  14. Does your wife make you go to church with her? If not then do you? IMHO You should to, at the very least, support her since church is very much social. If you should then so should your kids. Yes I realize that's ridiculous because I likely wouldn't go if my future wife were that religious. Just seems like the right thing to do as a husband. What can I say? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  15. A change in policy regarding departmental annual bugdets where if its not spent they get less the following year. If it is spent they get more. Its simply idiotic to reward a department for going over budget. www.FourWheelerHB.com

  17. Um didn't we bomb him first? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  18. I have that too! Only the doc called atopic dermatitis. A crappy condition but it could be worse I guess. How do you deal with it? www.FourWheelerHB.com
  19. I didnt word anyting in the OP and i'm not lucky that She didnt know who he was. I just read it and infered somthing different than the worst case scenario Oh damn you looked like kallend whne I read that. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  20. Oh yeah and speaking of Marines...while I was in I actually failed the physical to become aircrew thanks to the EKG noticing my heart was canted. They sent me to a civilian heart specialist to do a sonogram and it turned out to be nothing. My heart was just stronger than most which caused the cant. Anyhow he told me that milk is bad for the heart and not to drink too much of it. This was the first and only time I'd ever heard that because my entire life it had been drummed into me and my generation that milk does a body good. Fortunately I don't really drink milk so it doesn't matter to me either way. Just thought you should know that it wasn't some '50s or '60s nutrition book that I got that from. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  21. Oh I thought that's what you were getting at but didn't want to assume. You see...I'm a man so you have to spell it out for me. It also doesn't help that I was a Marine either. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  22. To be honest I'm not going to read those books so why not just give me a quick summary on what you don't agree with in my post. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  23. Or you could drink vitamin D milk. Personally I prefer the sun as milk is bad for the heart. www.FourWheelerHB.com
  24. ah that would make sense. The way you worded it had me imagining him hitting on your wife and if that were the case you're lucky she didn't know who he was. www.FourWheelerHB.com
