  1. I have an oval head, and tried the Cookie, but it didn't fit well. I ended up with a XXL Phantom X helmet. I've been very happy with the fit. I'm hoping their KISS helmet fits as well as the Phantom. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  2. I've got about 1500 jumps on Sabre2's, and I've had maybe one hard opening. I think that's darn good since I've often dumped while still tracking off of big-ways. Now my Sabre1 was another story... There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  3. My third different German car. Loved them all. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  4. I had 2 fusions in the c-spine. 6 weeks after the surgery, my doctor told me I could go back to all activities other than skydiving. He made me wait 6 months for skydiving. That was 6 years ago. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  5. I did the Manta Ray dive several years ago. By far my most memorable and cool dive. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  6. Mine is skunk. We lived in the country, and you'd smell the skunk scent regularly. 30 years later, it still reminds me of that time. Because of that, I love the smell. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  7. If you have questions about the Phantom, I'd suggest you call Square 1 directly. I jump at Perris, where the majority of the locals with full face helmets have the Phantom X. I've had mine for more than 2 years, and I've had no problems. I like that I can take the visor off to wash or replace it without using tools. I tried on the Cookie, but it didn't fit my head right. Square 1 also has one or two new full face helmets on the way. Again, I'd contact them directly. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  8. The G3 didn't fit my head well. I got the Phantom and I love it. I like the fact that you don't need tools to take the lens off. Square 1 also has a new full-face coming out. I've seen it, and some of the changes I remember are: A different profile in the front so your mouth is visible, and external mounting (on either side) for an audible. There are battered women? 9. So sad to hear this. I did a lot of jumps with him when he was a load organizer at Elsinore. He was always great fun to jump with. I still use a phrase that I heard from him (regarding fast fallers): "He falls like a greased safe full of nickels." Blue skies my friend. There are battered women? 10. Trivia: What is the "real" name of that symbol? Octothorpe. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  11. Exactly. Those moaning about low savings account rates now need to remember that when savings rates were 7%+, mortgage rates were 10%+. If the banks controlled everything like some like to think, then why are mortgage rates in the 3% range? The Fed. And if you want to complain about the Republicans, then ask yourself why the current president has artificially pushed rates down with several rounds of "Quantitative Easing?" 12. I've had my Phantom X for quite a while now, and I couldn't imagine anything breaking the lens. I've been kicked in the face, and done a fair amount of tunnel time with it. There may be some difference in impact protection between the major vendors, but I question if it matters. What type of impact are you expecting? There are battered women? 13. Yes, she'll get reelected for as long as she continues to run. Sickening. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  14. I had bone spurs that were pressing on my spinal cord and had a fusion of C3-4 and 5-6. 6 weeks after the surgery, the surgeon said I could do anything EXCEPT skydive. He wanted me to wait 6 months before jumping, which I did. I've had no problems in the 5 years of jumping since then. I think your surgeon is like mine -- he doesn't know anything about skydiving, so he's going to be ultra-conservative. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  15. Why do you think Tiger Woods moved from his native California to Florida? If I'm going to save millions a year in taxes, I'm sure going to think about it. Phil has his own jet, so travel shouldn't be an issue. He's since backed off those comments a little, but I hope he does it. The idiots who run the state of California need to take note. There's only so much people will accept. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  16. I have 30 years in the computer industry, and yes, I disabled it. It may or may not cause you any issues -- it all depends on the web sites you use. Instructions to disable it are here: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/disable_browser.xml There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  17. I'm sure the U.N. will handle this. [/sarcasm] There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  18. The face shields on my Oxygn were always a pain to deal with. The last one took two of us in the gear store 30 minutes to replace. The next week I ordered a Phantom, which I'm very happy with. The shields last MUCH longer, and you can change them in 15 seconds with no tools. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  19. When I'm doing bigways, I almost always dump in a track. It hasn't caused me any problems. YMMV There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  20. My doctor specifically said not to take aspirin or other meds that thin the blood before jumping due to the fact that they would exacerbate internal (and external) bleeding if you had some sort of accident. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  21. When it comes to manufacturers, I've generally gotten stellar service. Altimaster and Vigil both replaced products with brand new ones even though what I had was out of warranty. As I remember, L&B did something similar. I do see a lot of complaints about dealers, but I've generally had good (not outstanding) luck there too. There are battered women? 22. Not in my hand, but tucked in the waistband of my pants and covered by my shirt. Similar story to others -- not sure why someone was pounding on my door late at night. There are battered women? I've been eating 'em plain all of these years...
  23. It's just another toothless sound bite. It's another rallying cry to huge percentage of people who pay no taxes that someone ELSE is not paying their fair share. All rhetoric aside, look at the facts: This rule would generate only 47 billion in additional taxes over 10 years. We have about a $1.3 TRILLION deficit just for 2012. Not even a drop in the bucket.
