  1. Sounds like a remote pissing contest.
  2. Thank you. Yeah, I've survived the first. some pictures Big thanks to JFK to let my try his suite.
  3. An interesting note from the pilot's handbook reads: "If the engine quits in instrument conditions (blind flying when you can’t see the ground) or at night, the pilot should pull the control column full aft (it won’t stall) and keep the wings level. The leading-edge slats will snap out at about 40 mph (64 km/h), and when the airplane slows to a forward speed of about 25 mph [40 km/h], the airplane will sink at about a parachute descent rate until the aircraft hits the ground." Stall Speed: 35-40kts. but controlled descents are possible at 25kts. or 30mph.
  4. Why do I have to fight with small tube stows if I have a pullup cord? Anyways its not brand new anymore, it has 200+ jumps, but it can be really bitchy if its really dry.
  5. It would take forever. An-2 is really slow to climb. Effective celing is about 2500m.
  6. Riser pressure is depending on the trim and wing area.
  7. Relax! Its PZ-81 in Talka. I have 3 rides on that. Trust me, its working. Its made in Russia and still in production.
  8. What can be fit into W-3 or W-4? Thanks.
  9. You just don't get the point, thats electro-magnetic shielding installed against cruel alien brain-waves.
  10. Read my words again. I have not written any canopy off. Every canopy is a compromise. If you wanna swoop you might find better canopies than Pilot.
  11. A SILVER wingsuit may cooler in the sunshine than a black one.
  12. I'm using double fronts only. It really hard to make it dive except I play with breakes a bit and its really hard to keep it in dive after 6-7 seconds. Its flatten out in 3-4 seconds after I gently release front risers.
  13. I suggest to forget Pilot if you want to swoop. I fly mine ~WL 1.4. Its a fight to make it dive.
  14. I hope you got my message. IMHO line stows are not a major issue in opening.
  15. or not ? Lazy bag thread
  16. How about pulling the slider over the nose? Or getting a bigger/pocket slider.
  17. Why are they(short recovery) more dangerous, if you get yourself under canopy faster?
  18. I have to use it, because thats to official way of teaching student to pack. I don't like it: it's a pain to get in, getting out and during flaking the nose too. One should is enough.
  19. Yep, Its harder to pack if you can not see.....
  20. That's BS. Packing is a skydiving religion. You should practice, spread and have faith in. There are plenty of ways, but you have to find yours. Here is mine
  21. Notice: I'm not against psychopack(psychobag), I just didn't find it easier. Thats all.
  22. Easy to say! Have you tried a brand new canopy to roll??? Its a silicon slime.
