Come on, Troll! Go and get some life!

Here is your (online)Beer.

Hint: the lake is starting on the right side. The camera was looking to W-NW. Beach, spot on the middle.

Dangling ? I had a clean landing.

I had my first beach jump yesterday. Its a kind of easy place the multiple escape routes. It was not going as planned. It was some light wind, but none on the target area. I was coming from the lake, from the right. I was long, way too long. There is another group of trees on the left, So I was flying between that 2 group of trees and around the top of the right one. It was a really good lesson.

??? What is your weight? Hybrid/ZP canopies plane out over WL 0.9/1.0+. You should learn how to execute a 2 stage flare. Stage1: take canopy out from normal flight to leveled flight onver the ground. Stage2: Keep it flying over the ground as long you have forward speed. If you put your feet too early to the ground you are rolling, bouncing... Ask help from some local experienced skydiver who is jumping some small

Don't worry. They would not keep it secret if they would fly it.

I'm listening now... (1st WS reserve ride)
phoenixlpr replied to Luminous's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I got 1 stable line twist so far. Mine was not a result of rushpacking. -
Join me! I'm looking for someone to fly with too . I was wondering to start doing acrobatics soon.

Don't take it so far. Just in the recommended WL range. Can you stall a reserve? Mostly yes. Can you stall a student canopy? Mostly not.

Is it really necessary the FS1 b4 you freefly?
phoenixlpr replied to meistwer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You can see that the right information is flowing slow. -

You may take your shortcuts..... ....shortcuts in skydiving leads to hospital, morgue, cemetery. Its up to you. Anyway you have a really bad attitude, but nothing that broken bones can not cure. The sooner is better like an (broken) ankle is better than a femur, or who knows someone is might waiting for your healthy kidneys. -
What makes a device sensitive or non-sensitive ?

No problem. There are famous reserve canopies out there. Some people claims they don't flare just stall. Would you put students under those beasts?
-
BASE and reserve canopies are packed more accurate way and a bit different than a skydiving main canopy. Anyway canopies are designed to open upto a certain speed like 120,130,150 knots. AFAK only reserve canopies must be certified. Every canopy is a compromise between several factors. There are so called all-around canopies, they are good for the most common purposes. Requirements of a student main and reserve canopy are different.

I sweared on not ever jumping with a sub 200 sqft canopy in 2001. I sweared on not ever swooping my Pilot150 when I've bought 3 years ago. I had countless(150-200???) of 1000m jumps and I can land it quite well almost whereever I want. I had ~50 double front riser approaches so far and I'm going to try 90 degrees approaches too.

I have washed my rig about 3 years ago. It was really hard work. I spent 4+2 hours on cleaning. It worth it, it smelled good and got its original colors back.

Is $45 a big price to get your dirty rig cleaned e.g. once in 2 years?

Is Cobalt a good one?

Landing a step-through/tangled parachute
phoenixlpr replied to jheadley's topic in Safety and Training
I've seen only once. It was not a success, because powder was blown away by the wind :(. -
Landing a step-through/tangled parachute
phoenixlpr replied to jheadley's topic in Safety and Training
Using powder to avoid sticking of the material was a regular procedure with round canopies. It had some space for practical jokes too: having a rig prepared for surprise with extra amount of powder. -
Wow! Nice pictures!

Thank you! I was a bit on the edge, because of the 24h boogie. I had even 2 jump after (the Finnish midsummer) sunset.I could not even tell how many I did when we were riding up. I thought it was less than 10, but it was #11 with Vesa. Flight data has been attached:
