  1. :) [ url "http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=33" ]AN-2[/url]
  2. Indeed. That is the biggest single, star engine plane in the world.
  3. It has a nickname, it is called antetü in Hungarian, means an the tick or something similar.
  4. That should be some student thing.
  5. I have found that document here about a half year ago. I have downloaded, but I have lost it somehow. Does anyone still happens to have it? Thanks!
  6. I know who he is. I'm jumping one of his design and I like it very much. It has stabilizers. I'd like to know more about his statement.
  7. Would it be possible to search for attachment by name? I have download Split_Line_Stow_Method.pdf from here, I have lost it and I can not find it anymore :(. thanks.
  8. How about keeping back the air with higher pressure under the wing flow over the top skin on the side and making wingtip vortexes too?
  9. Ok. So trust me. I'm not sponsored and I had 353 jumps most on Pilot150 and some on Pilot140. I love my Cobalt135 too. That is opening even softer.
  10. Simple: can you skip 10-35 minutes without music / jump? We usually have radio on in our club. I don't really miss those minutes spent with climbing, freefall, landing and walking back.
  11. It is not just about missing pull time. End of the skydive is when you get back to packing area. Once I was almost hit by a rolling glider plane. I think its quite dumb to use headphones and listen music even on a bicycle or motorbike. We should open up and not close our senses in this hazardous environment .
  12. I hope you know what you are doing. Is that so hard to push reply on that message you want to reply? Anyway I have chosen my Pilot, because of having a good reputation of nice openings. When I bought my Cobalt I was told that Cobalts are not the same. There are good ones and bad ones. I love my canopies they open really soft. Any canopy can open hard even if it was packed correctly, but some is more famous of hard openings.
  13. Buy what? Are you talking about buying an Aerodyne Pilot ? Why do you think that I need one more? I love my Cobalt anyway.
  14. There is lots of info available about flying a camera. Unexperienced people is kept back for a good reason. You may ask this question tomorrow too.
  15. I'm sorry I can not tell. I have no base of comparison and I have flown just some seconds on the back. I have a lot to work on that. I have ordered my suit in the end of May, 2006 and backfly inlets were an option.
  16. Aircraft emergencies does not some without a notice. After some dives you should know and feel the normal behavior of the jump plane and the pilot. You should see and feel the difference between a crisis situation and normal life.
  17. Ok. Regulations can depend on the actual country. I guess you are in US, he is in Germany and I'm in Finland.
  18. Hard drives are not designed for working on low pressure environment like 4000-6000m. Heads of the hard drives are floating/flying on the top of a tiny air pillow over the surface of the disk. Drives are breathing through an air filter, so air pressure goes down heads and flying lower and they do not like mechanical shock. So for skydiving your friends are the tapes and the solid state memory devices.
  19. So do you recommend students to do this kind of "updates"?
  20. Ok. Be my guest. Please check out this video before you might shoot yours.
  21. You are right. SIMs are to be followed. There is a good reason to hold jumpers under 200 jumps back from shooting their version of this video.
  22. What suit are you talking about? You know that is called Phantom. Backfly inlets are standard option on updated Phantom, like mine: P81.
  23. Ok. But how is that some reserve canopies having spectra lines, but still having acceptable openings. even though they are designed to open fast.
