I believe that's "Candide" that was one of the first pieces I played in an orchestra, most excellent clarinet solos. __ Yes, if we're talking about playing in band/orchestra, my favorite song of all time is Greensleeves. It's a beautiful song, and I play flute, so we always had the prettiest parts of the whole arrangement. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

I've never had major problems with UPS, and I send out between 5 and 10 packages daily at work. Over the last three years, they have only lost 2 packages, mis-shipped one. And there are always major problems with international shipments, unless the shipper completes the proper paperwork. Nothing can cross the border without that; trust me, I've had to resolve that issue SEVERAL times, especially shipping to Canada. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

Nope; never been arrested or anything. But I've had a few speeding tickets and taken defensive driving. Does that count as a year's probation since if you get another ticket, BOTH of them go on your record? ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

That's really cool! When I go through old papers, I tend to find poems that I've written. Being a packrat myself, I have saved every one of them. What have I not saved? Well, I've also found old notes passed between friends, old love notes between me and my crushes...those have been disposed of, with fire usually! I would have kept the doodles, because they had meaning, but I understand what you mean about too much STUFF! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

It's true; I've heard lots of skydivers talking about it and actually saw one of the guys at our DZ reading it one day while he would wait for the next load. They really are good for kids and adults. I read the first book before my 12-year-old sister ever touched it. My whole family has read all but the newest one, and I can't wait to get my hands on it...as soon as my dad finishes with my copy! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

I failed level 5 the other day on my first solo exit for basically the same reason--I got all tense because I didn't fall into position immediately and I was spinning like crazy. So, I never totally got calm enough to finish the dive properly. Same thing, I managed to wave and pull on time and had my best landing yet. It was weird, too, because on level 4 I somehow did a little flip, which should have tensed me up more, and I still managed to relax and have a kickass dive. And these two jumps were on the same day. The only advice I have, still being in AFF, is the same thing my instructors keep telling me--JUST RELAX and have fun with it. It shouldn't feel like work. I would say do both, and there's a reason for that. The movies are extremely entertaining, plus they bring the book to life. Most of the characters show up EXACTLY as they are described in the books, and if you can't visualize very well (although I'll tell you it's never been as easy to picture a character as it is from the descriptions in these books), then the movies help you do that. However, there is so much more information in the books, plus, as with most books that become movies, the books allow you to see inside the character and into their heads much better than the movie. If you're not much of a reader, don't worry about it. Just trust me, I've seen several people who NEVER read pick up one book right after the other and get through each one in a matter of days. They are easy reads, and they are enthralling, so that you don't want to put them down. FROM THE VERY FIRST PAGE!!! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

Read Harry Potter. Catch up on the "latest lingo". Besides, you'll really enjoy it; they're great books for kids and adults. As for muggles, well, it goes both ways. Wizards and witches don't understand how they live without magic, just like skydivers don't understand how whuffos live without jumping! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

I smoke, and sometimes I find that after I have a cigarette, I wish I hadn't smoked! Sometimes it causes a headache, other times, I just feel like "why was that necessary?" Yet, I always want another cigarette later. Do any other smokers ever feel the same way? I'm just wondering if this is normal... ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

I'm on #5, about to start as soon as my dad finishes it. It's already made the rounds through my mom and my sister; I'm last because I wasn't there with them midnight the night it came out like I was supposed to be. I opted for a trip to Miami...go figure.
