    Could've been worse, but it wasn't good by any means. I've been working my ass off, but I'm not getting anything done. Had to talk to some real asses who called in at work, too. My SO's still looking for work, so he's not a happy person right now. But nobody died, and I talked to my favorite aunt for the first time in 2 months; I thought she might be pissed at me due to some family issues, but she was glad to hear from me...so that brightened things up a little bit. It also stormed yesterday, which made traffic suck and took out the traffic lights on the main street where I live, so it took twice as long as usual to get home... ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

    Crazy fuel prices?!? America has some of the lowest fuel prices in the world. Petrol is almost 3 times cheaper in the US than it is in the UK. The only thing thats crazy is how low they are... Yes, but fuel prices there are due to crazy taxing. Here, it's because some asshole on the news broadcasts that some pipeline has been sabotaged and oil production is going to be affected and that we can expect fuel prices to go up. This gives gas station owners (who are watching these newscasts with unbelievable interest) license to run outside with their little numbers and immediately jack up the gas prices 10 cents. See the difference? Taxes vs. propaganda. It's bullshit! The US needs to tap into their own resources rather than depending on the imports. We've got PLENTY of oil. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

    My mother grew up on a farm, and they raised cows for slaughter. Sometimes the cows became like pets. Still, come time for the meat market, they had to go. It sucks either way. I personally don't see a problem with eating cows, but that's because I've done it all my life, and here, they are raised for that purpose. The thought of dogs? Well, that makes me ill because I've had them as pets all my life. Some cultures have the opposite point of view, and unfortunately, that's the way THEY'VE been raised to believe. As sick as it is to me, it's normal for them, and they don't think twice about it. I'm totally against this, but you can't change the world that easily. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

    A problem you see frequently in the area I live; a lot of people work long hours, long weeks, so that they can have big houses (where they don't get to spend any time), drive expensive cars (that break down just as often as a mid-price car), and look good for society. Which is a waste of money in my opinion. If you have the money to have those things, great, but what's the point if you can't enjoy it because you're too busy working to pay for it? I'd rather live in a moderate size home and have a little less income to play with and be able to ENJOY it, than to have the envy of "friends" and never be able to play with my toys!!! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

    Don't worry about it, it's perfectly normal. I'm on level 6, and I'm nervous, even though I've already "accidently" done a back flip and barrel roll and come out fine from both. I know I can control myself in the air, but that doesn't stop me from dreaming about the things that could go wrong. The only way to get over it, I find, is to just DO IT. This will be my 11th jump, and I get butterflies every time the jumpmaster tells me to move into the door...really, it's normal. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!
