Yes, yes, I knew. And he did some crazy stunt work, too. In the scene where he's flopping around in the stream trying to catch a fish, the water was freezing. It took like 20 takes to shoot the scene, in between shots, he was wrapped in thermal blankets. When they got to the set in the morning, they found the whole area frozen over. It took them till 1:00 in the afternoon with fans and heaters to thaw the area they needed to use, and if you look closely in the movie, you can still see some ice on the edges of the stream!

Do we work in the same office? We have no dress code either. I choose to wear cute girly sundresses on most days though. I am currently barefoot and just got done painting my toenails a fabulous shade of pink!! LOL! It's funny, because when I wear a dress, the other 5 people in this office assume I've fallen ill...even a sundress is considered dressy for this office. I do it every once in awhile though, just to get a reaction!!! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

Awwwww...I wear boots and jeans all the time, except when going to the DZ or going to class in the summer, since both of those really do require shorts and sandals. I wear jeans, but not cowgirl jeans, and I currently do not have a pair of boots. But I wouldn't wear them to work anyway; I walk around barefoot at work. There's really no dress code here, so I get away with tank tops, bare feet, and shorts a lot. I love my job--comfort and ability to post all day long! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

In all these years in Texas I'm proud to say I have never owned cowboy boots or a cowboy hat Proud? I'm proud that I HAVE owned them. However, I'm also proud that, after 23 years here, I'm not a shitkicker, either. You know, I'm pretty adiment about saying I hate country music. But that only applies to new country I guess. I always liked listening to Johnny Cash. Good music is just that. Good music. I hummm "Ring of Fire" often. Don't know all the words. But I know I like the song. I've never lived outside the Dallas area. My parents lived in Richardson when I was born but moved to Plano 6 months later. I lived in Plano until 3 months ago, and I'm in McKinney, still the Dallas area, now. So, no, I don't think it's odd. I've considered living other places, but I can't think of very many that are appealing. Maybe Miami or Colorado Springs. Or, if I could afford it, Santa Cruz. But I definitely feel comfortable in Dallas. If it's what you've always known, of course you're going to feel comfortable there... ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

I say go for it. I've never taken classes on line, but one of the guys I work with does, and he loves it. He has to write a lot of papers, but it's fairly simple and quick. I did correspondence to finish high school, and it was just about discipline. Basically, I f***ed off six days a week (mostly because I worked) and sat down one day a week to do all the work. I could finish 3 or 4 units a day, which meant that all my coursework was done in under a year, and I actually graduated early. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

Well sorta... the guy who did the voice also acted as gollum when they were shooting the scenes wearing a suit with those points on the joints so they could skin Gollum onto him using CGI. He sounded like and acted like but it doesn't look like him Trust me, I know. I've seen every special, every documentary, that they've had on LOTR. On that note, did you know that Christopher Lee knew Tolkein and was given his approval to play Gandalf should they ever make a movie? The reason he ended up as Saruman, however, is because he's been type-cast forever as the "bad guy" and just fits that part better...Saw that on AMC or something like that back in February. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!

for now, i'm reading the book, and in a way its better than any of the movies... O Of course it is!!! And it always will be, but I have to say that it's rare to feel that kind of magic on screen. The characters have been completely brought to life, and almost exactly as I would have imagined them! ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!
