    Lots old people on holland america cruise ships have a death wish. They want to die happy, being pampered. That's why their passenger death rates are so high. Lots of old people + death wishes.

    Okay so this is a spinoff thread. I just watched that movie last week and I have a question that someone probably knows the answer to. In the movie the golden knight who was #8 (whos name I can't remember) was wearing this really cool full face helmet. Could someone tell me what helmet he was wearing? thanks

    I think my favourite skydiving commercial is the one where it shows someone exiting a twin otter and then cuts to them smacking down on the ground with chute not deployed. Then they cut back to the plane and show the same thing over. Then an announcer comes on and says somethings take practise or time. And then they say their company will get it right. Then they cut to the skydiver leaving the plane again, and then finally landing under canopy. it's my favourite commercial right now. But it didn't work because I don't even know what it advertises

    I wouldn't just use proximity to judge where you'll start to skydive. I do not jump at the dz that is nearest my home. And if you ask around a lot of other people are the same way. The dz that you end up choosing will be your second home. Try to pick a place that you want to be spending all your free time at.

    if your going to grand caymen go to stingray city. In cozumel either go shopping, or go to the beach and snorkel. I'm not too sure about montego bay, it's pretty dangerous from what I hear. and if you want to sneak alcohol on the ship, buy at at a port, wrap it up in a beach towel, put it in a bag and it will get past the machine edited for bad spelling

    I'd call my DZ and ask them which one they use. They're generally really good at finding an accurate one.

    I've heard that pilots do not wear polarized lenses as it could cause difficulties viewing the horizon. (I could be totally wrong) As a skydiver could there be any inherent problem with wearing lenses that are polarized. If given the option is it better to find a lense that is polarized?

    When I was on my forth jump I landed off. It was really rocky and I had a bad landing. I had no serious injuries but I was badly bruised. When I heard someone behind me ask if I was okay and turned to see my jumpmaster, nothing else could of made me happier. It was a long walk back,and he was pretty old. But it was really comforting knowing that the staff at the DZ was looking out for me.
