Do you jump at that DZ that has the wormhole? I'm not comin there, thats too exciting for me :-) Especially since I'll also be testing out my new sabre2. -
This morning when I got up I made a comittment to have an alcohol free day :-) I did that yesterday and the day before each day goin back almost 8 years. Thats how its done. One day at a time. Anyone can stop for one single day
-
I think you may be missing the point Grant
-
Nope. Buy rootbeer This wagoneer doesnt buy the beer and everybody is totally cool with that :-)
-
The wagon is only a bad place in the minds of people that arent on it or that dont stay long enough to enjoy its benefits :-) (shhhh, or in the minds of people that subconsiously know they should be on it but cant seem to climb aboard)
-
The "Wagon" is an absolutely awesome place where I have built a totally exellent life. I highly recommend it. No hangovers on the wagon either. I've tried it both ways and frankly, I think I have far more fun than folks that drink. People that drink all the time never learn all the other ways there are to party and have fun that dont leave you feeling like shit the next day. Too bad for them

Let the law handle it. If they dont do their jobs well then maybe he has a mysterious accident sometime...

Most of your questions would be more appropriately answered by your instructors. They will know from training you what kind of equipment will be appropriate for your skill and weight. Expect to have a blast :-)

OK, who knows which (if any) of the actors in the movie Cutaway (besides Steven Baldwin) did their own jumps while filming

I love a good action flick and I like a hot babe, but I turned the first one off after 5 minutes (not joking) and I'm unlikely to see the sequel

Yes, I'm a mean looking bastard in that picture! I had just dropped a 45lb iron plate on my foot when my friend snapped the shot. Timing is everything! In fact I am almost constantly smiling when not in severe pain For myself, I will seek to avoid the undying wrath thing. That sounds unpleasant as hell
-
all other bastardizations will earn you an icy glare and my undying wrath. That's bad news, man. Lookin at your Avatar it looks like all comments of any kind earn that icy glare

Wooo hoo! I'm an "old hand"! Not a post whore though. Well, not until this post!

Ever jumped in a foreign country ??
Blahr replied to lazyfrog's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
USA and thats it (so far) -
If compared to my wifes driving, then skydiving is MUCH safer
-
Don't forget to fly smart at whatever wing loading you're jumping guys! You can't afford to be complacent just because you're jumping a lightly loaded canopy! peace, blue skies, and dark beer. 100% agreement. Complacency kills. Being too agressive too soon also kills. My point was simply that a jumper with a 140 lb exit weight on a 135 is just BARELY over 1 to 1 so if the change is only one size or so (150 to a 135) and the jumper is comfy, its a good change and not pushing any reasonable limits on safety. Obviously they should fly very conservatively until they get used to the canopy

Age now = 38 Age then = 24 or 38:24 -
I dont see how they got screwed by PD at all. PD gave them 35% of a new canopy when a well used one bought second hand blew up. Maybe they got screwed by the guy they bought it from, but not by PD
