    The original hypothesis was that we would have stronger hurricanes and more of them. That hasn’t happened, they did NOT predict slower moving storms until after it happened. just like the Polar Vortex, So, yes that is HARKing, and is junk science.

    Indiana corn production in 2018 totaled 983 million bushels, 5 percent over 2017. Corn acreage harvested for grain totaled 5.20 million, unchanged from 2017. The average yield of 189 bushels per acre was 9 bushels above last year's yield and the highest on record. and in Illinois The corn yield is estimated at 210 bushels per acre, up 9 bushels from 2017. Production is estimated at 2.28 billion bushels, up 4 percent from last year. This is a record high yield and third highest production on record. Soybeans: Planted area, at 10.80 million acres, up 2 percent from 2017.
