So you sign a contract to provide a service in return for a specific amount of compensation, then you go on strike for >50% more money when your husband gets fired, your baby daddy walks out on you or the rent is about just as much as when you signed the contract? Huh, never heard it put like that before.

Funny you should mention that. Michal Mann, when asked why he refused to show is work on the "Hockey Stick", he said something to the effect "why would I show you my work if you just want to prove me wrong?" Silly me, I thought that was how science was supposed to work. Ironic that anti Greta is so much "hotter"

If the research can not withstand scrutiny it can't be that good. Mike Mann, said something to the effect "why would I show you my work if you just wanted to prove me wrong" Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that was how science worked.

I am not constrained, by the "or" I am liberated by the "and" IOW I do both. Just where? It is a private range that I pay to use. And yes I can hit a 12X12 target at 500 yards every three seconds, it is actually pretty easy with the right kit. https://www.mifflincosportsmens.com/

Somebody doesn’t know anything about guns
-
You are correct sir Not just competition, it is rewarding to figure out the range of a target, calculate the drop and drift, put the dope on your rifle, settle your breathing and heart rate, send the round and hear the ping of a target hit a few seconds later. It is more fun and challenging than just lead slinging. Well more challenging anyway.

As you might have guessed, neither one is an assault rifle. The one on top is a Ruger Precision Rifle. It is a bolt action gun that can hit a milk-jug sized target from a thousand yards. The folding stock is standard and it allows for it to be carried in a regular sized gun case, the free-float barrel AKA barrel shroud, is to allow the harmonics of the barrel to not be influenced by how the gun is supported, the muzzle break, AKA flash suppressor, reduces felt recoil, the twenty round magazines allow for sustained long range fire without having to get up and reload, then reacquire the target. The bottom one is a Ruger Mini-14. It is a semi-auto and is chambered in 5.56. It has a nice walnut stock and it looks like something your granddad would hand down to you. The correct answer is D, none of the above.
-
The top one can take 20 round magazines, is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor (way more powerful than 5.56 with triple the effective range) it can empty its 20 rounds in less than a minute.
-
I will give a hint, the top one is black, has a free float barrel (barrel shroud to you lefties), high capacity magazine (clip) folding stock, flash hider and rail system.
-
Pop quiz! Which one is an assault rifle? Top one? Bottom one? Both? Neither?
-
Funny you said that. When the original assault rifle ban was making its way through Congress, I bought a SKS for that very reason.
-
Don’t forget the barrel shroud. BTW it is called a magazine, not a clip and rail, not slide.

I cant speak for others, but I like the AR platform because I am familiar with it. I can assemble/disassemble with my eyes closed, I can clear a (rare) malfunction in a matter of seconds. It is ergonomic, accurate, light weight and low recoil (in 5.56). I have the ability to swap out the upper receiver and change calibers/barrel length/optics in a matter of seconds. Not to mention the massive after market for any number of upgrades. I agree with you that a shotgun makes a better home defense choice. That said I like my PCC (pistol caliber carbine) for that role. It is smaller and more maneuverable that a shotgun, has an integrated flashlight/strobe and the 9mm round has as much power as a 357 magnum when fired from a 16 inch barrel. As far as hunting goes, tell these guys that it sucks https://time.com/4390506/gun-control-ar-15-semiautomatic-rifles/

Just what is an assault "style" rifle? FYI, I am just like you. I only own semi auto, bolt and pump action firearms, so no anatomical deficiency here.
-
BINGO! And if it goes well Trump will take all of the credit.
-
The radical left considers the moderate left as useful idiots, who either have to be co-opted or destroyed, before they can move on to bigger and better stuff "I have news for the Democratic establishment, they can't stop us!" B. Sanders
-
Saw this guy on TV and couldn't get past similarities
-
Must have been an “assault rifle” right?
-
Looks like MSNBC has moved from denial to anger and are currently bargaining.
-
The smart guys are saying, if Sanders gets the nomination, Trump will be reelected and the Ds will lose the House, extend their majority in the Senate and may get two more seats on SCOTUS. No wonder the Ds are pissing their collective pants. They have forgotten the rule in political science that says, before the far Left takes on the Right, they first devour the moderate Left.

I guess you watched Joe Biden to get your information https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pn7tA3ifZIs

MSNBC is currently running a pro-Warren fluff piece, disguised as journalism, in a desperate attempt to derail Bernie's campaign. MSNBC is as anti-Sanders as FOX News is pro-Trump

It is not the total number of merits, it is the ratio of merits to posts. Do the math and Bill doesn't look so good.

Just where is Tesla going to sell all of these cars if it not in the US, Europe or China? "China’s state-run Automotive Information Net has reported that registrations of new Tesla cars were down 46% between December and January, to 3,563 vehicles" https://fortune.com/2020/02/27/tesla-stock-china-coronavirus/ BTW it is funny that you post about how great Tesla stock is on a day that it looses 15% of its value. RAOTFLMAO

In five more days, we will find out if Trump gets four more years.
