  1. GOP? The Ds have the House the Senate AND the Executive. The GOP is irrelevant (for now)
  2. Every example you cited involved a crash. The E-bus exploded all by itself, no crash required.
  3. Yet the French grounded their E Busses and not their diesel fleet. BTW did you see how quickly the E-bus fire spread? Five seconds from smoke to conflagration. Olof’s experience shows how much safer diesel busses are. He had time to get off of the burning bus (second level no less) get on another bus, pull out his phone and take a picture of a fire that was still largely confined to the engine compartment. Thanks Olof!
  4. AKA putting their thumb on the scales
  5. “In the images, we can see a small explosion occur on the roof of the bus, where the batteries are located, followed by huge flames that spread to the entire body, at breakneck speed.” It is only May 2nd, and while your post is misinformed it’s not all that stupid. The month is young, give yourself some time.
  6. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2022/05/01/electric-bus-catches-fire-after-battery-explosion/ Imagine being on this bus if it was crowded and had a wheelchair or two onboard and the electric doors didn’t work because the batteries that powered them was busy burning you to death.
  7. Nowhere in my OP or Wendy’s Reality Check #2, is the word ‘problem’. “there wouldn’t be a problem in the first place” are your words. Again what is the problem to which you are referring.
  8. So Twitter didn’t restrict the sharing of the HB laptop story?
  9. Really? https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/oct/14/facebook-twitter-new-york-post-hunter-biden
  10. Yes, help me out. What problem?
  11. Yeah it’s just like that
  12. That is the problem. It is not the lack of government support, but the abundance of it. When pigs engorge themselves at the trough, is it the fault of the pigs or that of the farmer?
  13. Where did I “clearly” say that? FYI Twitter now allows posts about legitimacy of the Hunter Biden’s laptop and how trans women are actually biological males to go through
  14. AKA, you make some good points that have nothing to with the topic at hand. If people really thought global warming was a problem, wouldn’t they be moving from Texas and Florida to Illinois and New York, instead of the other way around?
  15. Wendy, you make some good points, they just don’t address the reasons folks are moving out of cold states and blue states and moving to warmer, redder states. I’m pretty sure it’s not just so they can have a hamburger.
  16. Then why would the folks at Twitter bristle at the notion of their algorithms be made public. (It’s worth noting 98%+ of Twitter employees donated to the Ds and are nearly all Silicon Valley lefties)
  17. Then why are the lefties abandoning Twitter? Three hundred thousand folks decided to quit following Obama in just a day or so. Something is happening. Before, calling a biological man a man could get a time out. Now it looks like Twitter has called off it’s war on science.
  18. It reminds me of the kerfuffle about not teaching CRT in public schools. ”we don’t teach CRT in public schools”…..”How dare you ban the teaching of CRT in public schools” Now its. ”Twitter doesn’t favor the left over the right”….”OMG Musk is going to give conservatives an equal voice”
  19. Nobody should be happy, but it was the predicable result of the Ds money party. It will only get worse if they try this student loan cancellation nonsense.
  20. Some folks have suggested that Twitter has dialed back their algorithms that favored the left at the expense of those on the right before Musk comes in and open sources them. (I think even Twitter was caught off guard by the magnitude of the shift)
  21. So global warming kills more from cold than it does from heat. We can only hope the planet continues to warm in orders to reduce deaths from cold, at least until they no longer exceed deaths from heat.
