Record gas prices, highest inflation in a generation, out of control border, crashing stock market, COVID on the rise, GDP on the decline, crime waves sweeping the country, baby formula shortage, backsliding in the Middle East…who still thinks Brandon is doing a great job?

In the 90’s we were told the same thing about wind and solar

Unsurprisingly, the failure of wind has sparked a competing narrative that fossil fuel plants were the real cause of power outages. This claim can be quickly dispelled with a look at data from ERCOT, the state’s electricity regulator. Even though the extreme cold had frozen cooling systems on coal plants and natural gas pipelines, the state’s coal plants still upped their output by 47% in response to increasing demand. Natural gas plants across the state increased their output by an amazing 450%. Fossil fuels have done yeoman’s work to make up for wind’s reliable unreliability.”

Entire grid based on fossil fuels, with 42% being wind? “The state has spent tens of billions of dollars on wind turbines that don’t work when millions of people desperately need electricity. As the cold weather has gotten worse, half the state’s wind generation has sat frozen and immobile. Where wind provided 42% of the state’s electricity on Feb. 7, it fell to 8% on Feb.11. Rolling blackouts and dependence on diesel generators to stabilize the grid is not what I would call reliable or environmentally friendly. I would prefer a Senator in Mexico (reducing demand by one household) over a Governor who shuts down businesses and orders universal mask mandates while partying it up (maskless) at a fancy French restaurant.

California 19.90 cents per kWh ‘having built out renewable power sources’ Texas 11.36 cents per kWh ‘relying mostly on fossil fuels’

https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/californias-clean-grid-may-lean-oil-gas-avoid-summer-blackouts-2021-08-11/ “The Golden State, which has among the world's most aggressive environmental policies, faces a potential supply shortfall of up to 3,500 megawatts during peak demand hours in the coming weeks. That is about 2.6 million households worth of electricity supply. Governor Gavin Newsom plans to fill that gap in part by allowing industrial energy users to run on diesel generators and engines” Texas might have a problem, California does have a problem and that problem is an over reliance on renewables. (Funny how using that “free” energy from the wind and sun results in skyrocketing electricity costs and rolling blackouts)

Why are drug addled gay Nazis destroying the Russian military? On their way back from a drug fulled gay orgy rave a few hung over Ukrainians did this to a Russian battalion tactical group (Using only their dimming glow sticks)

Your video must be very distressing for Russia. Imagine the embarrassment for the world’s largest country to be getting its ass kicked by a small effeminate high heal wearing Zelenskyy.

1.That would be Assad. 2. Certainly not the Obama administration. At least the subsequent administration demonstrated the willingness to respond in a more robust manner thereby deterring further adventurism.

And that is why he annexed Crimea during the Obama administration, got blown up in Syria by Trump, and then invaded Ukraine when Biden inhabited the White House.

From what I have seen/heard on CNN, NPR and MSNBC, he would seem to be the reincarnation of Rush Limbaugh. Does the Left now have a new boogie man?
-
Ukraine would have several hundred T-14s as the thirsty Armatas would have run out of fuel much faster than the Russian T-72s that are now in Ukrainian hands.

English is obviously not your first language. BTW got any Sims cards?

What do you think will happen if we suspend standard accounting practices for oil and gas companies? They will just pass the costs on to consumers which is tantamount to a highly regressive tax on the poor and working class. You wanted a carbon tax? Biden’s policies have given us a de facto carbon tax and the public is trying it on and they don’t like how it fits. They will let the Ds know just how much they don’t like it, come November.
-
I don’t think there will be a tipping point. People will make incremental choices based on their own situation. As some folks choose to drive less, demand for gas will drop and prices will adjust accordingly.

OP= original post and nowhere in either OP is the word ‘problem’

I’m not going to get vaccinated or wear a mask You have to get vaccinated and wear a mask My body, my choice Not if it threatens another life!

I don’t ride buses. I brought this to everyone’s attention as a public service.
-
Thank goodness you were in a diesel. Had you been in an E-Bus, you would have been a goner, and Speaker’s Corner would not be nearly as entertaining.
-
So you are saying walls work at preventing folks from going where they want…say the United States for example?

All of the big ticket items such as Build Back Better can be passed via reconciliation, no GOP votes required. OTOH, if a bipartisan majority think BBB is bad legislation perhaps it should not pass. Your thoughts?
