  1. You tell me https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Volcker
  2. What part of “recession is already priced into the market” eludes you. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/17/stock-market-news-open-to-close.html “The Dow has declined for seven straight weeks”
  3. You kinda answered your own question. “It represents the investment from oil sales and sits at $1.2 trillion.”
  4. You are still confusing the DOW with the greater economy.
  5. With the recent sell off the DOW is close to bear market territory, the recession is already priced in.
  6. Higher fuel costs can lead to inflation which can lead to higher interest rates (like we are seeing right now) which can lead to a recession. Higher fuel costs reduce disposable income which may lead to reduced consumer spending which may lead to a recession. It’s not an iron clad law, but it does happen.
  7. The economy adapted to higher energy prices by contracting 1.4% in the first quarter. With regard to Biden…. https://barr.house.gov/_cache/files/1/7/17ec008b-f7ea-49e6-b614-ea9b4dd12d6f/16871653E745FF6D04D065F4E6DE8623.a-promise-kept-biden-s-war-on-energy-final-002-.pdf Read it again.
  8. I know, whoosh, right over your head. Let me help you my friend. non se·qui·tur /ˌnän ˈsekwədər/ Learn to pronounce noun a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement.
  9. 830,000 barrels per day. But Keystone is only a small part of Biden’s war on fossil fuel. It is the assault on all fronts that have given us record fuel prices. But isn’t $6.00 diesel what the lefties wanted? To force us off of fossil fuels? I’m sure as I type this truckers from across the country are swapping their diesel rigs for a Tesla Semi right now, heralding in a new green utopia.
  10. No, the CANCELLATION of the Keystone and other actions that restricted/discouraged supply were responsible for the failure of supply to meet demand when it resumed to pre-pandemic levels.
  11. How is it propaganda? Where is either the timeline or the documentation of the administration’s actions incorrect?

  15. Once again the White House reaffirms Joe Biden does NOT speak for the President of the United States. https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/23/politics/biden-taiwan-china-japan-intl-hnk/index.html https://nypost.com/2022/05/23/white-house-walks-back-biden-taiwan-defense-claim-again/
  16. You guys don’t get it. When an affirmative action pick fails it hurts the very people it was supposed to ‘represent’. If Harris was a successful VP, she may very well have been our next President. Now the only path for her is for Joe to go down. It doesn’t look good when the first black/immigrant/gay/women has a cringe worthy performance on the podium and then has to be backed up by a white/straight/ex-military/male. I agree there have been other terrible press secretaries in the past but forgive me for not including a critical analysis of George Cortelyou because he is no longer the WH press secretary.
  17. It’s not me, Jean-Pierre, upon being appointed press secretary lead off with her credentials. ‘I am a Black, gay, immigrant woman’ In much the way VP Harris’s gender and race are not redounding to actual accomplishments, Jean-Pierre is facing the same challenges. In progressive circles the answer to any problem is climate change bad, cooperations bad, rich folks bad. While that gets nods of approval in San Francisco, it doesn’t cut it when one faces an adversarial press member.
  18. No, it’s more like you love her because she is black and gay. Its called identity politics.
  19. Because those are the traits the progressives value more than competence.
  20. No, it is just that she is incompetent. Her race, gender, immigration status and sexual proclivities have nothing to do with it. I actually feel sorry for her. A career in the progressive bubble has conditioned her to believe that all of the world’s problems are a result of climate change and income inequality.
