    I think anyone who wants to wer one should be allowed> If they gave me one for free, I'd set it to open at sea level, or not open at all. If I cant take care of myseklf in freefall then I shouldnt be there. As for always having a reserve...I jumped with one only about 15 times...and would again if required. I do wear a reserve unless the situation would give me a reason not to. That is MY personal approach. I am not recommending it to anyone else. Bill Cole

    Ive made many between 20K and 37K. Its something you have to arrange for yourself, but first, get a High Altitude Indoctrination course and learn what can happen if you dont know what you are doing up there. Oxygen masks, bailout bottles, console in the aircraft, and other related things are not readily available at the corner store. Look into it, it is available, but you'll have to do some research.     It is those same laws and their enforcement that prevent anarchy. If that were allowed and all laws eradicated, who would protect you and your family from those who decided they wanted to harm you/them? God gave us His commandments, and from them the laws of the country are based. Picture yourself in a country full of wild non caring people who would harm you and your loved ones....would you want that? I dont think so. BILL COLE

    The laws of Ameruica were written based on the Christian-Judeo religions, and they come from the Bible and the Torah. Whether you like it or not, you know right and wrong based on your contry's laws that state it so, By the same token, there are some people who think they can decide its okay to kill another person. He isnt abiding by the laws of the country which were based on the Bible/Torah, he wants to make his own laws. Some people think its quite alright to steal another persons belongings.     Yes Jesus and God are the same. Jesus said "I and my Father are ONE", but it is a triune God, an includes the Holy Spirit. It is that same Holy Spirit that inspired the 41 writers over a 1500 yr peiod to write God's WORD. The Bible even declares that the scriptures are of no private interpretation, but were directed by God through the Holy Spirit. To answer your question...YES, they are ONE. Bill Cole

    The Bible says that if you have broken one of God's commandments, then you have in effect broken them all. Sin is Sin, and God doesnt have a grading system with one being more sinful than another. All sins are wrong In God's sight, and only Christ can forgive them No other person , onject, or thing can forgive your sins, ONLY Christ. If it were the other way, Christ would have died in Vain. If there was some other way in which to get to heaven ( i.e. good works) then Christ would have ied in vain. He said "NO MAN (or woman) comes to the Father (God) But by me". He alone is the door to Heaven, and you must go through him, by accepting his love and forgiveness, in order to enter God's kingdom. Bill Cole

    Maybe not, but it can and does lead to AIDS and other nsty things. There is what a doctor called an epidemic in Gay syphillus going on right now, but it is being kept reasonably quiet. What is next .

    A good story;...but I thought I was going to find that the next plane you got on, the two throwups were sitting beside you.. With all my jumping, I got on a plane to Montreal one morning, but felt terribly sick. The airline stewardess gave me a glass of milk, and as soon as the plane took off, I used the barf bag too. Everyone around me thought it was my first flight...and I couldnt handle it. Bill Cole D-41

    Ive known people whio had hundreds and even thousands of jumps who thought that made them a better person than someone who was just starting. It AINT SO. There are many dropzones around your state and others that you can go to. E Mail some of them and ask.     I wore lead weights when I jumped without a chute in 1969, and the first thing I said to the guy who held the chute, was " I should have worn more lead" Maybe that why CSPA didnt want weights used in 1980...it might be in exchange for a rig. LOL Bill Cole D-41

    After reviewing page after page of Para Commander jump, I finally hit on a jump with a Para-Foil. That was made onApril 4 1970, but there may have been something around before that date. I recall it was very hard to turn the canopy...the toggle pressure was like lifting a concrete block with your small finger. I didnt like that chute at all. The nextsquare I jumped was a Volplane, and the opening was so hard my helmet came off, the date Sept 29 1973.I also had two para-Sleds at that time, which except for the deployment sequence which always came close to a malfunction, was the best square ever invented. It should have been adapted for a skider, It flew extremely well. and was very small. Bill Cole D-41
