Josh: Everybody screws up. That's how you learn. You probably screwed-up going to first grade when you were 6-years-old. If you didn't, you're weird. The "fear" thing is another matter. A seasoned skydiver once told me that ALL skydivers have fear ... but won't admit it. I don't understand it. This is a strange sport. Skydiving is all I think about during the week, but then on the drive to the DZ on weekends, my heart starts pounding and I keep asking myself "why am I drawn to this insanity of jumping out of airplanes?" Michele: From what everyone has told me, the wind tunnel in Orlando is the best one. I just got back from spending a weekend there with some championship RW divers who go there often. (No, I'm not one of them. I'm a rookie.) It was hot there, and the tunnel is very noisy ... but the experience is great. My biggest problem was getting out of it everytime my 2-minute lesson ended. I'd head for the door, reach out for it, then slid backwards ... or, I'd lose my arch and hit the door too high. Anyway, it was fun, but expensive. Dick http://www.dickmcmahon.com

Yea, I landed on a dairy farm once. I was immediately surrounded by hungry cows, and I'm pretty sure they thought I was their "savior" from above! I'm not sure if a church was formed, but there's a good chance a herd is worshiping me somewhere and expecting me to return.
