Prob the most important thing to consider when buying a printer is the cost of replacement ink....I chose the canon mp370 for that reason..along with decient quality...the mp370 dosent have a fax...but its bigger brother does.

The rest of the story My neighbour(Fred..fictional name) and 2 friends were driving back to his place from about 10 miles away....a back road(quite twisty and few passing lanes)...another car came up fast,tail gated...and when going to pass...fred sped up....blocking the speeding tailgater When turning off the main road into the sub...the other car passes and blocks the road......everyone gets out (3vs2....good odds for there side)...driver of the other car whips out a can from behind his back and sprays Fred's 2 friends square in the face...they drop instantly...Fred only gets a little but is still hurting..."how u like that" yells the driver before pulling a rockford and leaving...911 is called on a cell...Fred gets the boys back to his place....the RCMP and a ambulance show up... Thats where this thread started.....Your all prob thinking pepper spray.....nope...not quite....bear repellant.....not sure whats in it..but the 2 friends looked to have a nasty chemical burn......the police stopped the other car shortly after the 911 call..dude was know to them and the can of bear repellant was found and confiscated... Not sure what charges are being laid...dude is in custody...hope he gets some time outa it...Fred admited to provoking the situation and being a asshole.... Pro......It can save your life Con....the expence(how much is your life worth?) Do a search on AAD's/Cypres/Fxc/etc....you will find many many posts concerning them.

You have gotten some good advice on maintance.....I would tend to change the oil in a diesel more often then a gas engine....the higher compression of a diesel(esp. one with higher milage) tends to allow more combustion chamber gasses to bypass the rings and polute the oil....try not to go past the 3k mark....as far as the transmission goes...40k would be pushing it if you are towing alot...keep a eye on the fluid...if its discolored and smells burnt...change it!!....otherwise stick to the service schedule outlined in the owners manual...I would also rec. that you have the trans flushed as apposed to just dropping the pan and changing the filter.....a filter change only changes approx. 40% of the fluid where as a flush will change approx 80%.......one other thing not mentioned yet is the coolant.....coolants have anti corrision chemicals in them....they wear out....green coolant..change every 2 years....red coolant(dexcool)....every 5 years(if it were mine..every 2 years)....fuel filters are more critical on a diesel than a gas engine...make sure to change at proper intervals. Best bet is to find a mechanic close to you who specializes in diesels...have a chat with him/her and set up a maintance plan. I have 15 years in the trade....hold a Class A Interprovincal journeymans Lic. I am also a ASE Master Tech and a ASE Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.
