Nice...what model? My brother just bought a new Adrenlin 800....and has lots of snow to play....140hp (yikes) He works for a Skidoo shop...changed all the plastic before even taking it out...keeps the resale high

Up north in the Atlantic Provinces we have been hit with 2 blizzards and a nasty storm within 1 week...over 4 ft in some places...all of Canada has had some nasty weather...along with the NE US... Stop sending me snow damnit!!!!! Monday we had a blizzard with 35 cm of the white crap...another storm came through on Thursday(was almost a blizzard)..got another 25 cm.....and tomorrow(Sunday) there is yet another blizzard coming...there calling for 50 cm but fear it could be up to 85 cm 1st pic was last sunday before it started....2nd is right after it started....3rd and 4th are from today(neighbour didnt finish plowing me out and I'm way to lazy to shovel when I know I will get plowed out) Will post the aftermath pic's once it stops tomorrow

Hmmm shoud I rant or just answer your Q's Hmmm I'll just answer your Q's......Short term synthetic oil covering the engine compartment should not cause any damage...and yes you should get it cleaned...please do not do it yourself...where would the oil mess go?? away?....most shops have oil seperators in there drains so that any oil washed into the drain does not go into the sewer system... Yes it would be a good idea to change the oil again...even if debris didnt get into the engine it never hurts to do another oil change...better safe then sorry. Ok..maybe a small rant ...Jiffy lube...Quickey lube...Morts discount oil changes...Pep boys...or the most expensive dealer around....it dosent really matter where....what does matter is WHO is working on your vehicle....at any place you can get some shit head who dosent give a rats ass about you or your baby...or you can get someone who takes pride in there work...simple...however you are more then likely to have that poor attitude at places where you get those ultra fast and cheap oil changes...they dont pay squat!! Where I work...we offer 2 basic oil change packages...the cheapy one ...a drain and fill..toss it out the door...the aprentices usually do those...and the sesonal maintance only $10 more....a licenced tech usually does these...change oil and filter / rotate tires if needed / set tire pressures / top up all fluids / lub all latches and hinges / perform a decient check over of the vehicle and provide a estimate for any work required or recomended......basically...you pay for what you get. I would go after JL big time...make them shampoo your engine compartment change the oil again for free and try and get yet another free oil change outa them......this sorta thing happens on ocassion...even to the most professional tech...usually when some yahoo know it all customer is yapping at you and geting in your way generally distracting you while trying to do your job(hint hint) My shop would shampoo engine compartment.....do a sesonal maintance and give you a coupon for another sesonal maintance if we fucked up and left the oil cap off. I hold a Class A Interprovincal Automotive Lic and I am also a ASE Master tech , ASE Advanced Engine Performance Specialist...etc etc...over 15 years in the trade. Wana rant more...but...

1st jump after getting solo lic....there was a nice big fluffy cloud at my pull alt...my plan was to fly through it under canopy(never been through a cloud)...must have got a little ground rush from the cloud and rushed my pull...didnt counter....started to tip diagonally forward to the right as I pulled...panicked..dearched...flipped through my deploying lines...ended up almost standing with the bridal wraped around my right arm and the D bag flapping in front of my face Pushed the D bag away with both hands clearing the bridel from my arm.....wooosh..canopy opens....however...it flipped me back the way I came with some nasty force...OUCH....and my helmet was also caught between the V in the left risers...choke choke...could see I had a nice square canopy above me...but was being choked pretty bad...tried using the quick release on the strap to no avail..choke choke choke.....Doh...lifted my self up on the risers and got my head out...whew
