Yes, the C-46 was at Skydive City and I think around that time it either was on the cover of Parachutist or in a prominent location inside inside. The picture showed jumpers exiting both sides. The loudest aircraft I ever jumped, and I've jumped Twin Bonanzas, Beavers and Islanders, was a Caribou. God, my ears are still ringing. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

eeneR, let me perface this by saying that paper thin, crispy crust pizza is my preference. Now, I've had pizza all over Manhattan and for the most part it was all good but not what I'd call really thin crust, however, I've been to Chicago several times and haven't had the opportunity to try "Chicago" style pizza. Just for my own curosity, please describe how it differs from "New York" style. Thanks The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

I know exactly how you feel about not having children Calvin. I got snipped at 30 years old and never gave it a second thought but things would've been fine if I had done it at 22. Like you, there has never been one second of my life that has included the desire for children and I'm now 61 years old, never had a child, still feel the same as back then and am perfectly happy with the result..

Moody, I share your pain but your situation could be even worse. When I go to visit my 92 year old, mostly deaf, parents in Dallas the same thing happens very early every morning with the Hispanic neighbors across the street (Hell, the whole damn neighborhood has slowly been taken over by illegals) Even the next door neighbor's fighting roosters that he raises in the back yard that crow every morning at 5:00 don't seem to phase them because of their impaired hearing. Furthermore, the horrible death bleatings of the goats he slaughters in that same back yard don't seem to bother them either. Guess that's just the way it is these days and to feel alarmed by it would be considered racisist. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

I used to be married to an English lady (yack, yack. yack ) and about the only authentic English meal she made that I liked was roast beef, English roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with parsnips. She also turned me on to Branston and cheddar cheese sandwiches.

The first new rig I had was a Classiflyer with a heavyweight Cloud and a 7 cell Comet reserve. Looked so nice and modern back then but to look at it now. Nice plastic reserve handle. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

Our new puppy Andy, (3 months old) has free reigh of a 500 acre farm but he stays close to the house at present. He spends the night locked in the barn with Barney the barn cat to protect them from "the critters" that come around at night. While overnighting in the barn, he uses the concrete floor for relief and I can count on cleaning up three piles every morning when I let him out. That's such little effort to put out in return for the reward he provides with his friendship and service as a "farm dog" .

There's an old woman in the small town I live in and her name is, no shit, Iwana Bone. Also, at an FBO where I used to work, there was a security guard, complete with gun, tazer, pepper spray, etc. named Dick Breath. We all wondered with a name like that and the ridicule he must have suffered all his life, when he was going to snap and start shooting everyone in sight. Maybe in LA but the RS in Bardwell, KY (population 1500 including the nursing homes), the only RS in a 35 a mile radius of where I live, didn't stock it and really didn't know WTF I was talking about. Anyway, the point being, the sound technician in Paducah did it RFN and cleaned up the degenerated sound on the 30 year old tape for $25.00 and I can now burn as many copies as are necessary. So far that's only been one. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

Scoop, just getting the distortion of a 30 yoar old tape cleaned up was worth $25.00.

Scoop, I thought of the proceedure you mentioned but the appropriate cord required cost almost as much as getting the recording studio to do it professionally. They even cleaned up the sound glitches that are usually present with an old tape. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
