Im guessing you meant BOW. there only one other way I would see that top of yor head thats why I though I may have overshot my boundries ( no pun intended LOL! Look at my last post! Post-whoring for me seems to include massive amounts of typos...I just don't care anymore.
-
this thread sounded like a monumental group effort to help you get your nut off Why not, we can't just let him sit there with blue balls, can we?

Of course I'm not mad...I don't even get it. Oh well. Congratulations Geronimo! Wait...is this really something to be proud of?

It's from a song on the "Frida" soundtrack. Frida was a movie about the life of Frida Kahlo, who was a famous bi-sexual Mexican painter that was married to Diego Rivera. I fist learned about her at my Art College many years ago. She was a fascinating woman. Frida suffered many physical harships due to a life-altering accident, and she was also very emotionally hurt by her husband who was a womanizer and slept around. She was constantly pushing the boundaries of society, as well as, in the art world. Anyway, there is a song in the movie when she is drunk and feeling defiant after her husband has cheated on her. She is singing in a bar. the song is called "The Witch" or "La Bruja". Frida (Salma Hayek) is singing/screaming out the lines in Spanish. It that can be translated in English to, "How lovely it is to fly...to fly and to let oneself fall!"

Today...I have post-whored my little butt off. However, I must now down to your greatness, Jtval. You truly have taken post-whoring to another level.

I'm not right now, since I have no desire to be in any sort of relationship (besides casual dating). Slut... Just kidding.

Hello! Almost new diver here (FLORIDA)...
VanillaSkyGirl replied to SkydiveNFlorida's topic in Introductions and Greets
Welcome Angela! Actually, do not worry about people liking you on the phone as I am sure that everyone will help you before, during and after the jumps. Try to be a good student and all will be fine. You'll win them over. I also did the AFF1 without a tandem, but I was scared out of my wits! A tandem first would help, but it is NOT necessary. If you want to go for an AFF1, then have fun! Let us all know how it went on Monday. -
- On an airplane and ALL toilets busy Have you read my food poisoning thread? Well...OK, so I was actually throwing up on the 9 hour red-eye plane ride, but it was just as bad. Trust me. Luckily, the bad poops were absent on the plane. I was in misery though. - In bed while getting a BJ Ummm...sex and poo-poo should NEVER mix. If there is even a hint of a chance that you may want to use the potty...abort the sex, until your mission is complete.

who says I'm too old to wear my hair in a ponytail... Huh? As long as it's not worn high on your head in a scrunchie like a 12 year old, you are never too old for a ponytail! How else are you supposed to keep it away from your face when you have long hair? Try to have a nice dinner anyway, MissKriss. You probably look really great!

Anyway, glad you had fun. You bet I had fun! Thanks for being one of the safety swimmers, although you looked really cold when you got out of the warm pool and into the cool night air! Btw, you did not actually see anything underwater, did you? I was FULLY CLOTHED! (You'll probably see more of me when I wear my new suit on Friday.) Anyhoo, I hope that your car is OK, now. Ciao Mark!

Yikes! This must have been very hard for him to swallow once he realized what he'd done. (To think that I thought that my food poisoning was bad!) Bad news if you really are what you eat...

Flashing Tandem Student & fake boobs
VanillaSkyGirl replied to Phlip's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
As a woman, I'd have to say there is NO WAY that this tandem student could not have realized that she was going to lose her small top or flash the camera. NO WAY!!! Even if a woman is quite firm (thanking my genes), having larger breasts makes it difficult to walk around braless as nipples would show and breasts would jiggle. It is something that women wear for attention as it is NOT comfortable. Breasts are heavy, and they sneak out of bikinis (Read my "Last Friday night" post in Talkback), small tops, etc. This girl may have become embarrassed afterwards at how silly she looked, but she knew exactly what she was doing. She was definitely trying to look sexy. Any woman wearing no bra or a belly/halter shirt knows that she will get attention from men. For God's sake, we women get attention even if we are wearing a loose sack. I'd have to say that I doubt that she did not think about the consequences that her clothing could have. By the way, I have never done a tandem, but aren't these people supposed to wear a jumpsuit? She knew that you were filming her, and she chose to wear that top with no bra on purpose. She knew what she was doing. It makes me sad that women have to resort to geting implants or pulling stunts like this for attention. Maybe that is why I love jumping. I look disgusting when I jump with messy hair and a sweaty face, but I feel beautiful. I feel like I am a star because I am doing something so special. I was wondering if this tandem student was going to go through the AFF progression? I hope that she does, so that she can find her inner beauty. I may be going up to Hollister someday soon, and I'd love to meet some of you. Edited to add: I will be the girl in the turtleneck! -
Eiley, I don't know you, but I feel that I can maybe somewhat understand what you are going through. About five years ago, I lost my closest friend, who was like a sister to me. She died in a freak car accident. It took me a very long time to get over that as I loved her so much. It sounds strange, but outside of my family, there was no one else...not even close. My world shattered with one phone call. I also broke up with someone that I was living with a few months after my friend's death and was suddenly out of work. (Bad things something happen in threes!) It was the only time in my life that I was depressed. Dealing with death can have this effect on anyone. I understand your poem. I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope that you are able to find small moments of comfort. It sounds sappy, but I swear to you that you will eventually feel almost normal again someday. Time has to pass, though. There is no easy way around it. You are probably still in the midst of struggling with a depression that is caused by this traumatic loss. It will be like a roller coaster...when you think that you are almost out of it, you may go all the way down again. It will get to the point when it's you or the depression. Think of Paul, and do everything possible to work out of the perpetual sadness. In the end, you will feel triumphant to had made it out. It sounds like a cliche, but it will undoubtedly make you a stronger person. I send you all my love, hugs and good vibes. I hope that you are able to feel some comfort. Keep shining, my sky sister. Edited to add: Please feel free to PM me, anytime.

I think that we should meet and jump together as soon as you get your "A", Sue, or, just PM me if you are really heading towards San Diego soon. I can meet you there or at Elsinore, which is my home DZ. Hopefully, you are not secretly a serial killer or anything. Cheers!

OK, so I finally recovered from my food poisoning, and I drove out to Elsinore on Friday afternoon for my water training class. It ended up taking over 3 brutal hours to get there. Usually it only takes between 1.5-2 hours, and I wasn't even driving out there to jump. I was not a happy camper , but, at last, I would have the water training out of the way. The water training was at an instructor's home, which is beautiful and very close to the DZ. There were snacks waiting for us when we arrived, and we were made to feel welcome. There was a lovely wife, kids and an adorable "guard-dog" to complete our "'at-home" feeling. The training itself was not too intimidating. We had 3 instructors on hand, and the pool was even heated just for us. I hadn't been swimming in a couple of years, but I am a good swimmer. Although I am out of shape, I have no problem swimming the various laps and demonstrating the different strokes that were asked of us. By the way, I was doing all this in a string bikini...with a t-shirt (semi-sheer) and long (to my ankles) lightweight supplex pants! I was scared that my bikini would fly off at some point, and I didn't want to run around in front of my skydiving male friends in a tiny suit. I had heard of a girl's bikini top coming off at a previous water training class, so I was prepared. (Actually, my shirt kept flying up to my neck under water, anyway.) I know, I know...I'm a prude. Anyhoo, I was third to perform the actual jump into the pool (again, fully clothed...and shivering) with a harness on, which I then removed under water as they quickly pulled the canopy over me from the sides. Then, I simply swam underwater until I was completely out from under the parachute. Although my clothing and wet harness probably weighed more than I did, it was much easier and less frightening than it sounds. So only one person panicked a little, but she said that it was from water going up her nose. She passed no problem when she went for it a second time with full-mask protection for her nose. We were all stoked and clapped when she finished, and that was that! We all passed. Then, we all hopped into the jacuzzi, and our hosts (instructor and his awesome wife) brought us drinks! Many picture were taken of the event, so I suppose that they will be on Elsinore's website. Although, I am seriously doubting it at this point as I never saw any of the million Bridge the Gap pictures that were taken up on Elsinore's website either. I don't get it. I always see the same people...posing, not jumping on that website. Oh well, I still think that it KICKS BUTT! About this time, Shark had to leave, although I wish that he had stayed. Our instructor host and his wife then barbecued and prepared dinner for us, and we basically soaked in the jacuzzi until it was time to eat. When dinner was ready, we were served on a long table outside with little candles. It was sooo nice. We all talked and ate and talked some more. It was such a beautiful time. Then, I drove over to the DZ and picked up my Bev "Hot Bod" from my friend who both works at the gear shop and lives on the DZ. I got home at 1 a.m. tired, but happy.

brb... I'm off to buy myself some steel-toe hiking boots... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ What he said. I'm going to be sick. I am easily disgusted by ugly feet. Why did I look?

Hey Ronnie, maybe you can draw the bath for Haley! There's always the chance that you could be her packing bytch, too... I guess that you two may have joined funds or something, so maybe that would not solve anything. Seriously though, join the club...you can take my spot. I begin a new job soon! PM me if you want Mike Alva's number.

Yes, yes, yes!

Gas prices are 15 cents to 20 cents per gallon higher. Sadly, the price that I pay at the station next to my building downtown is about $2.95 per gallon. I try not to go there anymore...
-
Oh! OK, then I DO know you! Btw, return PM sent.
-
That is a really funny story of your AFF progression. Edited because "Oooops! My bad! I don't think that I know you..."
-
Your screen name is Nutz? It's funny...really, really funny in this context. So is it true what they say? Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Oh Cora! I'm sooo embarrassed...my phone died! I promise to call you back when it's revived. PM me your #, sweetie. Hugs, ROSA
