Rosa here, proudly representing the Seven Cell Posse in Elsinore. I have 74 jumps. I am approximately 95-100 lbs., and I just began to jump my new-to-me Spectre 150. Some people seem to think that this is too large a main for me, but I would rather be safe than sorry. Furthermore, after renting and trying various canopies, the Spectre was my first choice for a main. It took me a very long time to actually find someone who was willing to part with his Spectre. I waited and rented, and I downsized when I KNEW that I was COMPLETELY ready. Am I scared of my canopy? No. Will I learn to be a better canopy pilot because of this? Yes.

Aren't you in the clothing business? That should provide AMPLE resources to provide for me, someone who works in the medical research industry. I just sent a nice post asking you to make amends with me, but now I AM offended. I thought that you were a psychiatrist or something to that degree. I may be an apparel designer, but that does not mean that I was not on the path to becoming a physician prior to that. My father is an private practice Obstetrician/Gynecologist and my sister-in-law is a Pediatrician. All my closest family friends are physicians. I have studied medical journals, been to medical seminars, watched surgeries first-hand and have done countless research on topics that relate to the female body. I have 2 chronic immune illnesses that I diagnosed myself before anyone else, and my specialists have let me self-medicate as they always keep me up-to-date on the latest seminars for my conditions. By the way, due to one of my illnesses, I am almost infertile myself at this point. Therefore, you can imagine that I have done much research regarding conception.

I guess maybe he should become a stripper since you are going to hit on the intelligence thing again. Whoa...Vallerina, not I, commented on stripper's intelligence versus her own. I never put down anyone's intelligence. A person can be intelligent and mistaken belief with fact. I completely respect both pro-choice and pro-life viewpoints as I was pro-life for many years when I was younger and my family is mostly pro-life. Although I am pro-choice, I will support anyone's right to be pro-life if they are not hurting others in the process. I would have understood Sinker's point of view easier if it hadn't become lost in the translation. When I posted, I was stating that I was offended that he took over the Women's Forum with his own agenda and made personal attacks to others in the process. I am not the one sending offensive PMs, and I do not wish to partake in this any more. It doesn't help if women begin to (however subtly) put each other down, too. Sinker, I think that you have your reasons for stating your facts so passionately, and I would never want to deter you from speaking out. It would be better in Talkback, though. Also, I am sorry if I was offensive to you Sinker in my prior post. Friends?

It was upsetting when the tone of the heated pro-choice/pro-life topic in the Women's Forum became ugly. Women's comments were being ignored by the men, who took over this forum. I thought that the most rational posts/beliefs were made by Wendy, whom we can all agree is a well-educated, intelligent person. Edited to only include valid complaints. OK, men!

Well, I am 5' 0" and between 95-100 lbs. When I had 30 jumps, I belly jumped with a man that was 6'2" and 230 lbs. out the door. I told him that I would adjust to him, and we stayed surprisingly level throughout the turns and docks. Now, that I am flying the mantis and trying more advanced moves, I will DEFINATELY be using weights soon! Oh yeah, my shoe size is 5 (narrrow).

Well, I have tried on Oxygens, Z1's, Boneheads and a couple of used Factory Divers. I finally decided to buy an ugly, used, chipped Factory Diver, which needs a new visor. This will be a temporary helmet purely for function as it was the best fit by far, and it is not a huge loss financially if I decide that I hate the feel of a full-face. If I love wearing it and it still fits well in free-fall, then I can get a new one later. Thank you all!

Hello cavem...er, I mean...Roy! I was talking to Sadsue the other day about possibly going up to see her for the Byron Boogie. If I can swing up that way, then I would love to be on my belly for this hyrid jump. I did my pre-second hybrid (briefly met up with "Wintermute" ) on Sunday in San Diego. It was awesome! I was part of a great belly base.

Lordy Kelli! He is a complete freak. When my dog was a puppy, she loved eating ice, too. I don't give her ice anymore because I don't want her chipping a tooth. She adores cold fruit, though. Maybe your fat cat is warm? My dog is a winter dog, and she takes a dip in the pool at her will. Her first dip is usually first thing in the morning...very cute, but weird.
