  1. Wow, you're probably the perfect woman for many men. I say that for several reasons, girl. Ok, I have to go to work. Catch you later, hon!
  2. What is it with men and BBQ? I have never heard a women rave about it, although I must admit it's good. It just seems like all men are into a good BBQ! (Mmmmmm BBQ...I'm getting hungry, now.)
  3. I'm laughing so hard because I should know that you wouldn't do this. That said, I can't get mad at Mike...he's such an awesome guy. I know this thread came from a good place.
  4. What the heck is a candid picture of me at work doing on DZ.com, Mike? (Booooring!) I've been working there and often controlling the winds, since we opened 8 months ago, Mike. It's nothing new, my friend. Btw, I didn't know you and Lisa had a camera w/ you, yesterday. (Sneaky couple!) It was great seeing you both.
  5. I ate his FUCKING porridge, and it was GOOD. (Fyi, I broke YOUR [Jiiimmyyt] stove. No porridge for you!)
  6. Is that like saying she frigid? Selective, yes. Frigid, no. There is nothing wrong with being selective. It's called having class.
  7. How much for "Girl Power!" across his chest?
  8. Are you sure they were not selling you gas?
  9. You should have been moved to the front of the production line, and had your new suit next week. That would have been great customer service, a great way to build a good reputation and business. Actually, this is exactly what someone like Julio would normally do. I have one of his amazing suits as do many people at my DZ, including Mel Curtis' VRW team at SD Elsinore. Julio has some of the best customer service of any manufacture that I know. He called and dealt with me personally at all times and was so gracious and easy to talk with about any issues. I think the misunderstanding is a cultural or second-language type of miscommunication. I have to admit that in my own opinion, I believe that mentioning an innocent charging mistake by teasing a company owner about it online is tacky. However, skydivers are not "proper" and find it humorous to tease one another, not understanding how a businessman could become offended. I know it wasn't meant to be rude, but perhaps Julio took the post as a swipe at his integrity...as if he meant to overcharge? (Which we know that he would never do.) Again, I think it's a language and cultural issue. Julio speaks both Spanish and English. Yet, his primary culture is latin and his first language is Spanish. It was a misunderstanding on both sides. Now, kiss and make up, guys. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on owning his suit. If I could wear mine every day, I would. P.S. I think that Julio should give me 1/2 off on my next LS suit for resolving this...
  10. That's awesome! What time will you be flying? I recommend the evening because it's so hot in the daytime. It's too bad you aren't coming to the IFLY Hollywood tunnel because I'll be working tomorrow evening. Have fun wherever you fly!
  11. I voted for you, of course. (Love your work!) I hope that you are recognized for your talent. Good luck, my dear!
  12. Sending my deepest condolences to his family, close friends and other loved ones. May he forever watch over his Elsinore family. Blue skies, Shindig.
  13. Awwwww, thank you, Jeffy. You're sweet.
  14. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I have a busy life (2 jobs & graduate school), and skydiving has not been an option, during this time. The great news is that I have a 4.0 GPA and am very happy with or without skydiving. Oh, and I'm 37 years young and proud of it!
  15. Thank you so much, everyone! Love you, guys & girls!
