What about women with unibrows?

YEAH!!! OK, I'm still here, but I am loggin off after this post. I am so happy! I just really want you to come out here. I think that we would have so much fun, especially since your birthday is the last week in January! I still don't have the date of the event set, but it's only because it needs to be approved by others. I would hate to have it the same weekend of the 10-ways, etc. It's up to the DZ and the tunnel to give me feedback on when it would be best. Thankfully, we have time to properly plan this out. I'm really looking forward to hearing your ideas...

Hey girl! Sorry that you are bored. I've been there with the ankle injury...and it sucks! I cannot stay online after this post, but I have a suggestion. If you are still considering coming here for the Locks for Love weekend early next year. (We'll have haircuts for the children's wigs, skydiving, tunnel flying and partying all weekend with the girls.) Perhaps you can make a list of all the things that you'd like to do while here during that weekend, and either post it to the Locks of Love thread or PM me. When I am able to spend some time looking it over, I will call or PM you. You can help me to plan our fun weekend. It will give you something to look forward to for when you can jump/fly, again!

Hey Amanda, that is a really nice-looking rig. Congrats! I'm so happy for you, girl.

Happy birthday, Billy!

Gia told me that her answer to that question is always the same. Gia ~ "Where do you think that I learned to talk that way!"
-
So Nicky, did they let you go in?
-
That's pretty hilarious!
-
Oh my goodness...that is really cool! Go Todd!!!
-
Welcome, Remi and Karen! We're so happy for you both.

I don't think that is necessary. If Casie is spending time alone with him, then she has his attention and vice versa. Casie ~ If you want him to kiss you, stand close to him and stare at his lips.

Ms. Glass? Joke hint That's so funny because, actually, I am Miss Glass. My BF is my nemisis. No matter how well I take care of myself, nor how poorly he takes care of himself; I am the one, who is always sick. Damn him! Ok, I would like as my hottie minions... 1. Ms. Amazon - She could break anyone that f*cks with us. Period. 2. Giaaaaaaaaa!!! - She's always got my back, has a hot temper and curses like a sailor! Plus, she needs an outlet to relieve her work-stress. 3. Skyyhi - I can tell that she would kick butt big-time for her friends 4. Skymama - She's sassy and a single mom. Enough said! 5. Swedishcelt - She seems to have a side to her...

Wow, I am feeling the strong temptation to go. I love Eloy, and this seems like a wonderful group of people...hmmm. If I don't go to South America to spend time with my relatives, then I will make Eloy a priority. Even if I just go to use the tunnel for a couple of days, I will have to stop by and meet up with everyone.

Dear SKY, I miss you so very much. I think about you all the time. My beloved TUNNEL sees me every so often, but it's just not the same... Always, ROSA

Travel ideas for Vancouver, BC in mid-Sept.
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
I need to go to Vancouver or very close to Vancouver because I am meeting my guy there. Remi ~ This is personal travel for me, so I will probably not be staying anywhere too pricey. I will be looking into hot springs, bed and breakfasts, etc. Jose ~ I stopped jumping back in March or February...something like that. As a matter of fact, I stopped jumping regularly back at the end of May 2004. I would have a heck of a lot more jumps by now, otherwise. I had close to 200 jumps in my first year and few months of skydiving. I am currently taking a loooong jump break for personal reasons, so I will not be going to any DZs to jump. Btw, thank you for the friendly invites to the DZ 4-way scrambles. That would have been a lot of fun! (Roasted pig? Yum!) I am most likely going to Vancouver the 2nd week in Sept. It will be only weekdays, not for the weekend. I might be able to meet up with others. I am going to know more (and make a final decision about whether or not to go) by next week. -
Happy 100th jump, Beth!

Thank you for posting that site. It's so much fun! It found 500 anagrams for Vanillaskygirl. Some didn't make a whole lot of sense, though. My favorites for my name and username were: rosa = soar vanillaskygirl = silky naval girl

Jeffy, if someone gets offended because you are using affection when talking, it's best to not take it personally. Calling a friend sweetie, dear, hun, etc. doesn't seem bad or inappropriate, unless you are talking that way at a place of employment. Don't worry about it, sweetie. ~

Tonight, I drove out to Long Beach to have dinner with Gia. It was so great to see her, and I even remembered to ask about the pictures as I was leaving for the evening. Sadly, she forgot the disc with my b-day pics at her office. I promise to show you all Gia's pictures from my b-day gathering as soon as I get them. Btw, I miss you both, Keith and Evelyn!

Travel ideas for Vancouver, BC in mid-Sept.
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
I am considering going to Vancouver, BC in mid-Sept. for a few days. (Yes, it's a very short trip.) I am just now going to do some research for this possible upcoming trip. I was hoping that someone could help to guide me in the right direction. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions as to what to do while there? -
Surfer Women Better than Skydiver Women!
VanillaSkyGirl replied to jmpnkramer's topic in The Bonfire
My BF is a hardcore surfer, and he is actually surfing right now. He finally took his vacation leave, after being in Iraq sinc January. I am on meds right now, so I am relaxing in his apt. this morning, while he hits the surf. He is driving around looking for some good surf, and he just called me 30 minutes ago to look on some surfer website to let him know the conditions at another nearby beach because it's not good enough here. I'll probably go back out with him to the ocean (down the street) in the afternoon, if he goes back and if I am feeling better. Btw, we are in San Diego. My thoughts on surfers, in general, is that they encompass various walks of life. It's not just 20-year old guys with no jobs, who smoke pot and say "dude" every five minutes. If they live on the strand in Manhattan Beach, like my brother used to, these are slightly older (30's-40's+) professional/well-off, yet still hard-core surfers. My BF is in the military, but he and some of his military friends surf regularly. My BF is 38, and he began to surf at 32 years. Just like in any group, there are some surfers who are in better or worse shape than others. Just yesterday, he and I were watching a chubby, middle-aged man climb down some rocks with his board to hit some waves. It made me think about age/shape, and how nice it is that some of us still love our hobbies, despite not being perfectly fit and young. Like skydivers, some surfers are parents or have demanding jobs or a life outside of surfing. Swimming in the ocean would seem to be the ultimate exercise, but not all surfers surf consistently, due to commitments, work, family, etc. Regarding female surfers and skydivers, women who surf and who skydive should never be compared to each other negatively. Neither groups of women seem like the type that would be putting each other down. If anything, both groups seem to admire what each other has been able to achieve physically or even mentally in each of their sports. It's a win-win situation, if women are able to skydive well, to climb well, to surf well, to be fit, to be successful, to live well, to be happy, etc. In some countries and even here many years ago, women do not or did not have that luxury and/or that right. Here's to all women of the sky, the land and the ocean. May they enjoy their lives and pursue their passions, with wrinkles, cellulite and all. -
Oh Dagny, what a beautiful post! It sounds like you two had truly a magical wedding. You are perfect together. You both look so beautiful, so happy and so completely in love. Huge congratulations to you and to Kris on your marriage. May you always remain happy and in love!
