That's funny - my experiences are the exact opposite - I lived in Kansas for some 21 years - took off for a few, now I'm back I'm realizing how cool Kansas really is! =========Shaun ==========

Alright, I think I'll jump the gun and be the first serious post, but then Acme needs to tell us her resolution.... Ready? 1: university Work - 33 credit hours at 3.7 GPA or Higher - broken down into the 3 semesters I'll do counting summer. 2: Skydiving - Finish Rigging Ticket and make at least 200 jumps by Dec 31st 2007 3: Financially - Be able to pay for college without taking any student Loans this year - whether that be paid for by Rigging, scholarships, or probablly by a happy mix. I have some more personal goals concerning family and religion and even personal fitness, but those 3 will suffice. =========Shaun ==========

That third woman would be fun to marry - but something tells me that a woman who manages Money in that manner probably wouldn't be happy with me spending money on jumping like I do - I would probably still go for #3 - =========Shaun ==========

It depends on the situation and the age of the person who I would be addressing. For Example, a younger lady might get upset at a Mam' whereas a gentleman of any age could do well being called "sir". =========Shaun ==========

We are all rooting for ya Michele!! Good luck on your finals and let us know as soon as you get out how they went. It's interesting how you can get your brain and your body to work long after you decide that you can't go on anymore. Maybe it won't be apparent right now, but let us know how you feel after the fact.

I came from a Family where Education was valued and my parents did all they could to raise us. I have some Sisters and A Brother who are all really hard working and we support each other in all we do - It's a big blessing to come from a family like mine.

Good news thread? Cool! My good news is that after 2 years of sleep deprivation, I can finally do something I couldn't do for a LOOONG time, fall asleep on the couch watching a movie. That was entertaining for about 3 hours then I got bored and made myself busy again, but it was fun while it lasted!!!

Once we did a Mr. Bill that went wrong and a bud of mine and we almost hung ourselves. Rope burn on his neck. I jumped a round paracommander at FFC some 3 years ago. I've jumped them before, but always in Kansas where I have the entire state as my landing area. I missed the loading tent by about 10 feet and that is ONLY because I was able to almost dive the stupid thing into the wind (it was a later model with the steering slits-If you call that steering) That was luck that I missed the tent. Anywho the Army Guys with the golden knights gave me a high-five for the PLF - Glad I practiced those puppies. =========Shaun ==========

I saw them all the time but I've never been the victim of one. I was riding the bus with a friend of mine about 3 weeks ago and he just bought a brand new Nikon Digital Camera - I saw some punk middle school kid fidgeting behind him and at the next bus stop he shot out of the bus like a cat in a dryer. He got 2 clips open and undid the velcro straps inside the bag and weaseled the camera out in about 1 stop - probably less than 2 minutes. I'm suprised he got the velcro undone because if not done with skill, you have a noisy theif or one who tugs on your bag. Lucky for us, the little guy was wearing his school uniform with his name printed on the front - my bud went to the middle school by our house and asked to find the kid, but they wouldn't help out 2 americans so we went to the police station and gave our report - I don't know how they did it but they gave us a call 2 days later with his Camera back. *Edited for grammer and spelling only*** =========Shaun ==========

0:0:0 - Haven't seen my family in years so I decided that maybe I needed to spend time with the Fam - plus no car made it hard to get to the DZ - I need to call friends and try to bum a ride next time - "No car - Need Help!!" Good Question! Personally, I've stubbornly punched through dead goals just because I made up my mind to - but I'm getting out of that habbit and becoming more flexible. Now I usually update my plans with a new round of goals. =========Shaun ==========
