    My canopy has been packed the exact same way for long enough that the material has the creases that this can be done very easily. When it goes over my shoulder is is basically already flaked. However, i take the extra time because my canopy is kind of old and has seem better days - i don't think it can handel a lot of the extra friction that could be eliminated by a super-neat packjob.     Right now I have a Final Exam friday, so i'm planning on arriving there late late friday night/saturday morning. (probaby between 2 and 4 am.) I need to get to work jumping Saturday Morning.     1:0 I was at the DZ from 7 am to 9 pm on Saturday. We had a First Jump class and I ended up packing over 15 student rigs, and I was working to get cleared to radio students. I made one hop n pop from a tandem load. Felt good. I love weekends like this. I didn't get to jump much, but we were turning student loads and tandems like crazy. This is the stuff that keeps our DZ open and people like you and me jumping!!!! BLue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    i"ve been to a couple of boogies where i have missed loads because i refuse to rush myself packing. It sucks - but you need to take you time and do it right. I would be pretty embarrassed if i cut away due to sloppy and poor packing - missing a load is ABSOLUTLY no excuse for throwing your canopy in yor bag. I've watched a couple folks trash pack at boogies - i've seen some pretty amazing things stuffed in a d-bag. More guts than i have. Blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    Ron, I also agree with you - I think a lot of skydivers share your feelings. My opinion concerning Tandem Progression: As we all know, experienced jumpers don't keep a dropzone turning loads. A DZO needs to keep his airplanes running by throwing as many tandems as possible. I don't hold this against them like many people do - this is exactly what keeps you and me jumping, just the way it works. For a DZO, it is much more economical to throw a student Skydiver on three Tandems, then continue his AFF with only one instructor along with - saves room on the airplane. I feel that a Tandem progression is designed to train students in a manner to keep a steady cash flow, to keep the bills paid. In my opinion, take a look around and see if you can find a DZ in your area that throws students on SL - much more economical from a students point of view. May take more jumps to get off Student Status, but you'll save money and do it ALL YOURSELF!! BLue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    I've done several Mr. Bills from our Little C182 with no problem. The only way we can get it to work is when One person wears a Student Javelin and have a third person hook him up on a Static Line. That way the person deploying can quickly grap the Bill's chest strap and help him hold on. Blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    I would vote to let the law handle it. Not that the offender doesn't deserve all the things that can be done to him, but in the laws hands, the stepdaughter can recieve the counseling that she will most definatly need. People who grow up in sexually abusive situation develope personality traits that can cause them major grief in life, she need to talk to somebody NOW!!! Blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========
