    The S&Ta of our dz used to do a yearly Demo into the county fair. they called an end to that a year or so ago when the mud & manure became too much of a problem. Blue ones, =========Shaun ==========

    Hang on a second.= > I have put around 150 jumps on my Dolphin. When i first bought it off my rigger, it had several points that may have caused issues with freeflying. the riser covers fell short of covering the shoulders, and there was no bridle protection what-so-ever. However, after i had jumped it for a couple of months, i sent it off to altico for the modifications. The New Riser covers are almost identical to those of the Javelin, and it does have a flap sewn in to protect the bridle. These modifications cost me $150 and $35, respectivly. Every rigger i have spoken to deem my Dolphin with the modifications freefly friendly. Firthermore, I send my Dolphin in and it was revieved by mike furry on saturday morning, and he mailed it back to me monday morning, so you won't be long without your rig. I hear a lot of Dolphin Bashing in these forums. Just remember to use your judgement and decide for yourself. Blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========

    Excellent Choice Viking!!!! When i bought myself a new helmet, i went ahead and got a brand new Z1. Overall, i've been very happy with it, but in retrospect, i wish i would have saved the $$ and bought a good FactoryDiver. I like it's clean lines and simplicity - in a jump i have enough to worry about, i dont' want to concern myself with my helmet more so than i have to. Blue Skies!!! =========Shaun ==========

    0-0-0 Our Pilot had a change of plans and therefore our DZ was closed for the weekend. Oh well, i went to two weddings and one reception, and i got to do some work on my car. After the WFFC jumping orgy, it was a nice change of pace for one weekend. =========Shaun ==========

    I don't believe that it is the Death of Skydiving. However, i do believe that many skydivers are burning themselves and trying to freefly long long before they have developed adequate relative skills. It's a shame, but i have met many people who can do different manuevers in a head-down, but can bearly stay relative in a group. this may be me preaching, but i think that a jumper needs to have develped belly skills before they should concern themselves with learning freeflying. They are losing important principles of body flight and in my opinion, pose a safety concern to themselves and others. my .02. Blue Skies, =========Shaun ==========
