May i also add: WEAR A CUP!!!!!! This isn't funny, I saw a buddy of mine lose his left nut because of this. As for myself, I was playing about 4 months ago, and when running from bunker to bunker, i tripped on a tree root and ended up spread eagle in front of my opponent: He put around 5 shots to my groin and 3 to my chest. I was wearing a cup, and i shutter to think what would happen had i not been!!!! AggieDave, what would happen if your position was closed in on by a tape-runner of sorts? It seems to me that every DZ has a Brand that Most to all of the Members Use. For Example: At Kansas State , our students are trained on Javelins, most buy a Javelin when cleared off Student Status, and the Javelin has by far the Highest Resale Value in the area. Furthermore, Down the Street at Skydive Kansas , I see the Dolphin Container Used in Numbers i have never seen before. Look at your Dropzone, and see what everybody else is using - not to fit in with a clique, but look at resale value a few years down the road when you are looking for something else. As for myself, i Want a Standard Javelin bad Enough, I would be more than Happy to Wait the 6 months. =========Shaun ==========

I used to play all the time. I don't play any more for a number of reasons: mostly the people. Paintballers and Skydivers are almost Exactly Opposite. I say that i've never met a skydiver i didn't like, and i also say i've never met a paintball player I liked. Different attitude towards the game they play and the people that play it - A much less mature group of people in my opinion. Yeah, several people at our DZ have gotten custom paint jobs on their helmets. They take them to a Motorcycle shop, and it only runs them around $50. I would advise going to your local Harley or Leather Dealer, and ask around. If no luck, PM me & i will give you the number for a guy here in Kansas That does SUPERB work for relativly cheap. I spend the night thinking it all over, and that is exactly what i've figured. I can save up between now and December and go see him and his wife for a week or so. Thats a very good idea - it would be tricky to coordinate but well worth the effort. I'm sorry I haven't gone too much in depth for why it would be impossible to attend......... So many intertwining circumstances, would take up an entire server to post here. Please trust me however, if i had even one more resource to make it out there, i would not be stressing as such. I guess a kick-ass gift and a call on their wedding day would do a good job, but Sinker, you were right when you said i should get out there a little before (or after) to extend my congratulations. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! I have found myself in the worst of worst scenerios here. Please allow me to vent my frusterations here, maybe putting them into type-written words will help me come to grips with things. Here I am in Salt Lake, Came all the way out (And missed Couch Freaks, by the Way, huge sacrifice) to take care of some business within the Family. It is very nice to hang out with everybody and be back home.... Well, my brother appears with this absolutly WONDERFUL girl, and announces that they are going to be married this November 22end. Nothing spontaneous, he's been discussing it within the family for months now, the news was more formalities. This girl is amazing, she has her life together, working as a 2end grade teacher, active in all aspects of life, everything a guy could want in a Woman. She's beautiful, well off, and has an amazing personality. When the wedding date was announced, my heart sank. There are many circumstances which i can't really go into that make it impossible to attend the wedding. I'm not trying to bitch and moan on these forums, But this is a REAALLLY big deal for me. I mean, this is my own brother, he's been through some hard times with previous girlfriends/wives et cetera, and he's just now settleing down in Las Vegas as a young Lawyer. I feel it is very important that i be there to support him in his decision, and i feel like i'm falling through here. I don't think it would be such a big deal if we didn't all feel so strongly about this young lady he has choosen. Does anybody have any ideas how i can make up for this? Re-reading over my post it sounds a little bland and whiny, but this really is a great contention for me right now. any advice would be greatly appreciated.... =========Shaun ==========

Pay three or four strippers to go and kick his ass on stage - I've seen it done on many occasions. One of my buddies still bleeds from his nipple on occasion. I've fired several Glocks, but for my taste, i prefer the Standard issue .45 auto. Nice solid firearm. (I am from the Browning Family, so I am a little bias ) If you are buying a gun to carry for self defense, why do you need anything more than a Derenger or something like a Judges Gun??? =========Shaun ==========
