Dang - I just realized that I'm taking time off from JUMPING to go spend a weekend in Rural Kansas hanging out with some girl and her parents - I've always fought for every second i spend at the DZ - This is just weird...... =========Shaun ==========

I'm temped to say that this is a relative issue. there are people i would have felt confident with when they had 300 jumps, and there are people i wouldn't trust or take instruction from when they have 5000 jumps! =========Shaun ==========

Well, I had a stroke of insight today. I was sitting at home, Grouchy that the 500' ceiling and scattered showers had kept me from going to the Mullins Halloween Boogie and Jumping a Demo Canopy I only get for this weekend and the next. I had save all my nickles and pennies so that i could go down, and jump my ass off. Well, come monday, I didn't blow $300 on Lift tickets like i planned - and i just realized, that maybe Bad Weather really is a blessing in disguise!! I think if i jumped as much as I would without the holds of Crappy Kansas Weather - i would have been in the poorhouse a long time ago. I guess I dont' have the Self-control to sit out on all the beautiful jumping Days....... =========Shaun ==========

Alright Everbody - Looks like I won't be making Collegiates this year - so I'll be saving a little Extra $ for a trip. I'm working on Relative work right now - Until i get good at that - i'm not even touching freefly or anything else. If i try to learn multiple Diciplines simultaneously, i'll just wind up mediocre at everything. I have about 200 jumps now, by March I'll probably be around 275. I'm looking for a good, maybe 7 day relative work coach program anywhere in the continental US. I see Coaching programs and Seminars offered at the larger DZ's on a regular Basis, but i thought i would come here and get some opinions on what i can really do to further myself as a belly flyer. At my home DZ, there are maybe 4 or 5 jumpers that have acquired a degree of advanced proficency in relative work. Let me know if you know of any good coaching programs, what you thought of them, what you advise, et cetera ! It'll be a great excuse for myself to get out of Kansas and Meet some of you dz.comers!! =========Shaun ==========
