    I was watching the Fiesta Bowl - I'm really disappointed - we had some pretty terrible plays. Ohio played well, and as a KSTATE student I hate to say this - but Ohio Deserved to win =========Shaun ==========

    Lol - I started In this sport when I just turned 18 and managed to buy used gear right off the bat. I bought a Used Dolphin, pd193, Tempo, and New Cypress for about $2,200 USD. Here is what I did -- I Just wandered around town walking into banks until I found one that was willing to give me a gear loan. $200 Payements a month for a year took care of that puppy - and I can promise you that if I could find a banker to invest in my crazy ass, you'll find somebody........ =========Shaun ==========

    There have been a LOT of bad spots out there lately. Matt put an entire load out half mile downwind and both my jumps last weekend I opened up downwind (good job spotting guys!!!) Paul landed on the other side of the freaking river?!?!? The rive is like a mile away!!!!! I wonder how Darin Managed that...... =========Shaun ==========

    We got one of those a couple of miles from the DZ. You can see it from the plane on your way to altitude. Whenever I begin to think that Kansas is lame and featureless, I just look at that Hill from our little 182 Widebody......... =========Shaun ==========

    It sounds like you have done your homework and are making a rational decision. I know that this isn't my place, But I too would like to put in my vote for you to stay in school and then go out afterwards. Think of this, you can put up with just another year or so of school and then walk out with a degree in your hand, it's said and done. If you leave now, it will be twice as hard to get that same degree later. However, if you REALLY want to find a great place to live and Skydive.. Have you ever though about rural Kansas??? We got a 182 that flies us every weekend, what else could you want!??! =========Shaun ==========

    I was there for 11 days in 2003 - I worked there on the tande staff. I could eat there, Breakfast, lunch, and Dinner on less than $2 a day. There are two super markets in town right next to each other, the cheapo one you can buy a package of hotdogs for .75 and a package of buns for .55. That's all I ate for 11 days ------- saved my $$ for lift tickes. =========Shaun ==========

    Take my word for it dude - Consider yourself lucky to be with a nonjumper. Really, here is my .02.... For myself, Skydiving is what I do for me and myself. When I go to the DZ, I don't want to screw around, I want to jump. Sometimes, Especially with a serious committed relationship, It's nice to have some time to yourself, to refocus and compose yourself. Jumping Means something to me, and no matter what happens in our relationship, I still want to be able to show up at the DZ and jump. This is kinda hard to explain, I think..... =========Shaun ==========

    Besides the Jump Numbers, I have made it my new years resolution to learn to fly 4-way - be able to turn points on the competitive level. Screw Freeflying, When I learn to turn points like a pro, then I'll worry about flying on my head and ass. =========Shaun ==========

    PhreeZone, Wait a minute, I just realized something. Didn't I see you this WFFC at the Jumpshack Tent QUITE a bit, and didn't I see you at their rigging Mini-class?? I thought you were A jumpshack Fan??? You were certainly at their tent a lot learning about their products. I don't know if you remember me, but I Was at their Tent almost 2 hours of everyday, I was they guy with the Soaked rig from the first Day's rainstorm when one of the vendor tents crashed my tent and filled it with water.
