    0:3:0 I took three full loads of SL-ers up and Instructed them. I had to do my first actual short-line of a student - She was a girl who slipped off the step but held on with one hand, thus turning her 180 Deg so she was facing the tail of the airplane. I put my foot on the step to keep her from hitting her head on it as she fell off. Nasty exit, shook me up for a while.... =========Shaun ==========

    I bought a Brand new Sabre2 150 (about 1.3 WL) this February, And I've put about 100 jumps on it. I love it. The openings were a little funky at times, but they were never hard or scary, just a little *Curious*. It's a great canopy. Fun and easy to fly. Very forgiving.

    I am an Intensly Goal-Oriented person. I'm a stubborn asshole sometimes because I tend to be internally driven. Yes, I learned a while ago that it was my pursuite of various goals that kept me pushing so hard in the sport. There are some days that I've wanted to go out and spend the afternoon on the Lake, but I've always got something to work on. Right now, I'm working to get myself at the Competitive level of RW. Sometimes I become very discouraged with this. I take everything so Freaking seriously, It's hard for me to relax and just go out, jump, and have fun. I come across as an uptight jerk. Accomplishing the next goal is too important. I may need to call upon my DZ.com friends I've met here at Rantoul - I need some low-stress fun jumps.

    There was a Jumper at our DZ a year or so ago who was in AFROTC at KSU and went off to do the course. What did he learn? - Keep your damn mouth shut. If the Instructors find out you know something, They'll make an example out of you to get the other Cadets to listen up... =========Shaun ==========
