My idea of this thread came about a year ago when I went to a Mullins Boogie. It was a pretty big event, and to boost tandems, the boogie was advertised on the local radio. Well, the Police didn't like the Radio ads boasting about all the Beer, so when we showed up, it was a no-beer boogie. The resestration fee was dropped from $30 to a measley $5. This gave me the idea that beer was more of a factor than it really was... =========Shaun ==========

This is something that has been bugging me for quite a while now - Maybe if I put my frusterations out in the Open now I'll have them put to ease - Maybe there is another explanation!! I'm a non-drinker. I buy cases of Lemonaid and water when I'm called. It aggrivates the hell out out of me when I pay "x" amount for a boogie and see how much of the regestration fee goes into paying for the Keg. Why can't more boogies offer discounts for non-drinkers!?! I'll be happy to wear a different color or goofy bracelet!! I know how much a DZ puts into beer for a boogie, why Am I paying for other people to drink!! I Want a Discount!! Ahhh, my rant is over. Thanks everybody...
