    Okay - When I try to post in the serious threads, I usually come in too late and with not enough to say.. Well, here is another concern that we need to take into considerations in times like these. Those 100-300 jump wonders (I too have been guilty of this at times..) see a hipocracy - "What do you mean YOU jumped a camera at 27 jumps and then tell me I shouldn't jump until I have 500!?!?" People thake this personally as an attack on their flying skills. We see it on the forums here all the time!! I like Wendy's idea the most. Start posing what-if questions to the jumper in question and hopefully try to get them thinking of things they haven't thought of yet... =========Shaun ==========

    Oh Oh oh let me go first!!1 I won't tell you my least favorie DZ, but I'll tell you my favorite DZ!!! My FAVORITE dz is either Skydive Dallas or FreeFall Express Skydiving. both on opposite ends of the spectrum, both have great friendly atmospheres!!!

    Ahhh those crazy airborne guys..... My favorite was the one where the Jeep's parachute deploys about 50 feet off the ground, just in time for line stretch and then impact... =========Shaun ==========

    I am not a rigger, but the best thing IMO to do is to contact the manufacturer and have them take care of it. I had a Dolphin which had hideous velcro riser covers, and Mike Furry at Altico modified it to tuck-tabs in a matter of days. As far as I know, all of the major manufacturers will retrofit velcro riser covers with tucktabs.. =========Shaun ==========

    The Books absolutly rocked, but the BBC's version had string holding up the Space Ship, and Zaphod Beeblebrox (spelling?!??!) was done so terribly It took me half the movie to figure out who the hell it was... =========Shaun ==========

    I was trying to watch the feed that FOX had - but the translators REALLY sucked - one of the two would yak for like a minute then the translator would be like "Um, I disagree" =========Shaun ==========

    Hmmm, On jump 56 I started Climbing out with an absolutly TERRIBLE spot of mine - most embarrassing part was the pilot reached out and stoped me - I still hear about that from a few people... I've gone low on a couple 8-ways, a 16-way, as well as a 32-way.

    0:1:0 Crazy weekend - I played at a wedding with a string quartet and Only made it out saturday for one jump. I jumped a student rig because mine is out at the shop, and the rigger that reattached & packed the main packed it with 2 twists in one riser and 3 in the other. I landed just fine on rear risers.

    Furthermore, I thought we learned from several well-known instances (Which I will not bring up, no point in stirring up muck....) that Skydiving + Marijuana = Trouble!!!! I've watched people get stoned and then go jump (At several Dropzones) - I informed manifest and the cheif I and they jumped anyways. Scared the hell out of me. =========Shaun ==========

    A lot can be said about this thread. On one side of the argument, you could argue that as long as the rigger is not high during or before the repack, he should be able to do his job to the best of his ability. On the more conservative side, one could argue that the riggers decisiion to smoke marijuana reflects his decision-making processes and abilities. I would take my business elsewhere. Enough Said..     Congrats Ella!! I wanted to tell everyone her on DZ.com what a Hard-core Skychic Ella is - She sat through SduCoach's Entire Coach Course just to learn more about the sport, and that was Last October!! She certainly deserves it, and I hope to jump with you when I come out again - I think It'll be July 15-18. Congrats again!! =========Shaun ==========

    That is "Psycho Bagging", as termed ont the Performance Designs Website. You can see it in their FAQ HERE From the Website: It really isn't that uncommon. That is how I pack my Sabre2 - It just makes it easier to me to get in in the bag - Helps me control the material better... Matter of preference, really....
