  1. I think PETA is working on banning Clubbing in these parts... =========Shaun ==========
  2. Lets see here, I'll try to rename them... Oh, I bought a Container for my skydiver ex, and she broke up with be before I could give it to her. Meh, I sold it for $200 Gain...
  3. There aren't many things that piss me off, However, if you REALLY want to get on my bad side, try correcting me or critisizing me in from of a student. I've killed people for that. Other than than, poor manners and ediquite get me rilled up - and so do drunk people thinking their funny. If you are drunk, I will NOT find your drunk antics amusing. Sit down, sober up, act your god damn age, and be a professional. Sheesh, you would think that most drunk antics would be left behind in High School...... =========Shaun ==========

    Your Job

    I don't have a Job right now....
  5. Your post is making us "Cessna Babies" all depressed from Turbine Deprivation now. =========Shaun ==========
  6. Maybe I can add one other thing to this thread - I spend a lot of my time instructing students, and as an Instructor, it is VERY important to me to not only teach the right thing, but to set a good example. If a Student or novice skydiver sees me getting everything signed, it might make a good impression on them to do the same.. =========Shaun ==========
  7. It doesn't hurt anything to get them signed off, and it only makes your logbook look more professional. I get absolutly Everything Signed.
  8. I am in the same boat as you, my friend. No, this sport is not all about the partying. I jump at a College Dropzone, and even here, it is pretty easy to seperate the two. When the Beer comes out, I just leave!! As simple as that!!
  9. I'm spending all of Next Year (And the Year after that) In Seoul. No Jumping for me for a while.... =========Shaun ==========
  10. I've just got one. Back in my Pre-Skydiving Days I used to be Very involved in Tae Kwon Do - I was never very good, and If it wern't for that Jock strap, I probably would be sterile now.... =========Shaun ==========
  11. Absolutly brilliant - For a burned out headlight, of all things!! It would seem to me that since coins are legal tender for all debts public & private, they need to accept this form of payment.... =========Shaun ==========
  12. I'm not down at all for those who choose to drink - Heck, as long as you ain't drinking & driving - I'm all for it! I just want to point out that in general, and especially in Skydiving, one who does not drink is the minority. =========Shaun ==========
  13. I don't Drink. I never have, & I never will. Because of this, I won't bore you all to answer all the rest of the questions. I wish sometimes us Non-drinking skydivers would speak up more. Windsor, you Rock.
  14. Nah - The more I think about it, I think it's just a Dry Cleaners That I'm thinking of on 26th.... Exciting, huh? =========Shaun ==========
  15. *** Are you talking about Farr's??? They make the best chocolate malt's with extra malt!!! Oh, wait, no that's on 21st right???? g Quote Oups, Your right, I think that is on 21st. There is something else really cool on 26th, but I forget what.... =========Shaun ==========
  16. Maybe I'm just Naive, but I really can't figure out why so many people think SLC is boring. Oh, SLC is famous for their Indoor Rock Climbing Gyms. Look some up, there are a few that are just enormous. You could also Take a Hike up Mt. Ogden - about 30 minutes north - Might be a little chilly this time of year, but It's definatly worth it. Hey, while you are in Ogden, Swing by the Worlds Best Creamery (IMHO) on 26th and Harrison - The only place to my knowledge with Root Beer AND Licorice Ice Cream!!! There is alos Promitory Point AND the John Moses Browning Gun Shop / Museum not too far from there...(John M. Browning was my Great-Great Grandfather, and for those interested in American Firearms and innovation, the Museum there is the absolute Pinacle..) Hey, there is A Really cool Permanate Bungee-Tower somewhere just N. of SLC (about 3 miles) with 4 jumping platforms - Last Time I jumped there, it was as many jumps as you can make in an hour for $25. Salt Lake City (and surrounding areas) Boring!! Sheeesh!!! =========Shaun ==========
  17. We are pretty Lucky here In the Midwest. I don't think I've paid more than 1.9 USD per gallon in a while.... =========Shaun ==========
  18. Actually, there about 4 or 5 major attractions alone on Temple Square - If you do the full tour, it will take most of a day... =========Shaun ==========
  19. Go shopping in Downtown Salt Lake city, or so take a tour of Temple Square - There is a lot to see and do there - if you just look about yourself, you'll be able to stay busy, I promise...
  20. At my House I have three - 1: A grizzy HP Desktop that works about 1/2 the time 2: IBM thinkpad, an old one. It's my Linux Machine 3: My baby - iBook, 1.3 ghz G4, over 1 gig of ram, 60 gig hd, bluetooth, wireless network in the house, superdrive, my true love... =========Shaun ==========
  21. It really depends on me - If I pay attention and watch body language, then yes, I do a pretty good job. If I'm not worried about being lied to, then you could get anything past me. =========Shaun ==========
  22. Thanks for coming out of hiding, Turtle - We were beginning to worry about you... No, That was not Cheating.... You were hanging, you were NOT belly-flying, sounds like the definition of a hybrid to me!! =========Shaun ==========
  23. This statement has confused me; Is Mike Forsythe no longer with JumpShack? =========Shaun ==========
  24. Way back when, in the Long-long-ago, I would make the Pilgramage about every month to Freefall Express (about 4.5 hours away) when they had a King Air. I would Travel every weekend up to 4 hours each way for a Turbine... =========Shaun ==========
