Nah, they don't hate you, they'll just want to convince you of their unique cultural identity or something like that.....I am just hoping you guys can foot the bill for that province when you turn it into the 51st state I feel that way about Puerto Rico. Although, I love Puerto Rico. I spent 3 months there. Great SCUBA diving and beautiful scenery!

    it must really suck for you when there are no packers available or you go to a new DZ and dont know any of the packers. I think it's weak...... Very weak.

    WTF… Seriously, I mean this in the most…constructive…way…possible. This is seriously pathetic and inexcusable. No one should progress to being a licensed skydiver without learning to pack their own main parachute proficiently. Again…no offense intended.

    I totally agree and I've been saying that for years. I actually think BB shouldn't be in the video at all. He's a nice and very smart guy and has actually been to my Dad and Uncle's House (and signed my logbook) but he's kind of eccentric. Students are always shocked and laugh when they see him first come on the screen. I always have to explain that the person who owns the shop that makes the rig that's going to save our lives really isn't insane. Is that bad?........

    Yup. I was very surprised to see that on an instructional video myself. You know, however, you're the first person to make mention of it to me. I've been doing tandems since 1993. I thought I was the only one to think that strange. Party on! I've got 4 lined up for this weekend.

    Sorry. Just had to vent. There's a couple of what I would describe as "titty baby" skydivers at my DZ. 400 jumps each and can't skydive worth a damn. Can't pack either. And they're comfortable with that. No drive to improve. That kind of thing really pisses a "type A" like myself off.

    People who can't pack their own f%&$ing parachute. Not speaking of the ones who can but choose not to. But the ones that aren't very good at it and, rather than improving themselves as a skydiver, give up and pay someone else to do what they should be able to do for themselves. That just wasn't accepted back when I learned to skydive. I know people with hundreds of jumps who still can't pack worth a damn. Pathetic!

    You can’t derive from what I said to Bill that I believe or am stating that Iraqis in general are the enemy. See, it’s obvious by the things that certain people write, whether or not they’re prematurely jumping to conclusions and have no personal experience in the matter. Of course, the Iraqis, in general, aren’t the enemy. However, we are fighting some Iraqis who are not members of the insurgency. Remember, "my friend", those Iraqis are the “enemy” just like the insurgents or “terrorists.”

    Ok. I stand corrected if that is true. I never saw that. I only saw where the Navy claimed responsibility. Bad PR move on his part. However, the "mission" of the invasion was an unprecedented success.
