  1. War Eagle, fly fight down on the field, Ever to conquer, never to yield! War Eagle, fearless and true, Fight on, you orange and blue! GO! GO! GO! On to vict'ry, strike up the band, Give 'em hell! Give 'em hell! Stand up and yell, HEY! War Eagle, win for Auburn, Power of Dixieland! Minor corrections... I'm still feelin' it, though!
  2. The only time I’ve personally witnessed my Dad get into a fistfight was at an Auburn – Florida football game at Auburn stadium (Jordan – Hare). This VERY obnoxious Florida fan was sitting in front of us (my Mom, Dad, and two Aunts (my Dad’s sisters)). Every time Auburn would do something good, he’s stand up, hold up both hands, display two “birds”, spin in a circle and say “screw Auburn.” That went on for a while till one of my Aunts told him to sit down and shut up. He proceeded to call her a bitch. As soon as the word came out of his mouth, my Dad cole cocked him on the jaw and knocked him into the next row of seats. There was no response and we were lucky enough not to have been seen or escorted out by the police. Auburn went on to beat Florida! SEC football rocks!!!
  3. Oh, AMEN brutha! I can't even cheer for my buddy's fav team the Redskins because of Spurrier (is he still the coach? I don't really follow pro ball) I don't follow pro ball very closely either. However, I think Spurrier quit, got fired, or something. Could be wrong. He should have kept his other job. I used to like seeing him get all pissy with his temper tantrums and thrown his sun visor down on the ground.
  4. Sorry, I was looking at the Georgia site. Georgia Schedule Georgia's got LSU scheduled for Oct 2.
  5. Ahhh…coming from a fan of the losers. Even if there wasn’t a personal foul at the end, the game would have remained tied and it would have gone into overtime. Still no guarantee that LSU would have, could have, should have won. I know how dangerous it is to try and predict games in the SEC Conference. In reference to LSU’s title hopes this year; I don’t think it’s very likely that lightening will strike in the same place twice. However, I don’t have your crystal ball and can’t see into the future. I can, however, see very clearly in the past and I see a very big final score of “Auburn 10 – LSU 9” on the scoreboard. I know it hurts and I sympathize. Let’s see. Georgia’s ranked # 3. So far, they’ve played and won 3 games. Georgia Southern, South Carolina (which they very nearly lost and obviously struggled), and Marshall. Think they might have been overrated kind of like LSU? Anyway, LSU’s got to play Georgia next. I hope, as they’re losing, they can at least break them in for us. Tennessee almost got spanked by Florida. It appears they’re struggling too. Alabama is, in fact, always a good game; however, I doubt they’ll be picked by the experts to win over Auburn at the end of the season. Again, I could be wrong. Like I said, I don’t have that crystal ball. I love college football.
  6. I grew up in Auburn. Aside from that, I also went to AU 93-94 timeframe. I got married and my wife got into Med school at UAB. I followed her up there and finished my degree at UAB in 97. It REALLY hurt my feelings to have University of Alabama on my diploma. The TIGERS are “movin’ on up” like the Jeffersons! Current standings: AP Poll: # 9 Coaches Poll: # 10 So far: Louisiana – Monroe: W 31-0 Mississippi State: W 43-14 LSU: W 10-9 To go: The Citadel Tennessee (away) Louisiana Tech Arkansas Kentucky Ole Miss (away) Georgia Alabama (away)
  7. If they're the War Eagles, who's Aubie the Tiger? Auburn Tigers...not Eagles
  8. WAR EAGLE! Bodygetta Bodygetta Bodygetta Bah Rah Rah Rah Sis Boom Bah Weagle Weagle War Damn Eagle Kick em in the butt, Big Blue Hey! How bout them Tigers (Auburn Tigers, that is)!!! 10. She is an OB/GYN Physician and has a pretty busy schedule sometimes during the week. She used to forget to take her OC from time to time. It was just too hard to keep up with. The patch works like an OC but you don't have to remember it every day. You just change it out every week. You also just don't wear it the week you decide to menstrate (eewww....gross huh?). The patch is more expensive but she gets it for free. Drug reps keep her stocked. Which keeps Jaybird (me) happy and in business!!!
  11. Ho...ho...ho... You so funny...
  12. Ortho Evra Patch For my wife, that is...
  13. At the tailgate party!!! And the appetizers are free.
  14. If you're scared....say scared. I say "go slick!" And Commando!
  15. AUBURN vs. LSU WAR EAGLE! GO A U! I'm going to the game this afternoon.
  16. I hope you don't base your decision on the crude actions of a few idiots on either side. Both Republicans and Democrats have their share.
  17. I don't know how any logical person could deny that they had WMD when they used them on their own people. We might have not found stockpiles, but we’ve certainly found leftovers of WMD. Do you also think that, since then and over the years, they really did comply with the demands of the world to completely get rid of them? How logical is it to take their word on that given their obvious defiance? Also, I seem to remember your country knee deep in it with us on the decision to go in. I’d say to your first comment above, “So did the UK” (and others). Let’s not be naïve or petty.
  18. Are you saying that Hawking might be emotionally unstable? How about Einstein? Aristotle? Galileo? Zenister made the claim not too long ago that the writers of the New Testament might all be emotionally unstable or in fact insane. I think all Hawking was saying was that he or anyone else does not, in fact, know everything. Therefore, even in his brilliance, he cannot discount the possibility of God. My question was how can an Atheist claim emphatically that there is no possibility of God? That seems like a very narrow view. To be intellectually honest with myself, I think I’d have to opt for Agnostic over Atheist if I had to choose.
  19. Don't they sell hurricane insurance too?
  20. What about the people in California who build their houses on fault lines where earthquakes are common and on cliffs where their houses fall over the side due to mud slides?
  21. Can you find an example of a not-stupid question on here? You got me there... Most are pretty stupid and pointless.
  22. Well, you may have something there. I respect your opinion and that was more so directed at the pure Atheist. There are plenty more out there besides PJ who claim this disbelief. With reference to you, however, can it just stop there? With the obvious (at least to me ) complexity and apparent order to the universe, how can there not be design. With your belief that "nature" just binds us all together, doesn't that just assume that everything as it is happened just by some infinitely astronomical chance? And how logical is that?
  23. So, is this all a really stupid question in the first place or not?
