You're right. The key is always to find a nitch.
  2. Must....stop... Must....not..click... No...clicky...no...... Can't.....ahhhhhh.... Train wreck.... Must look......
  3. I came up in the RW world (also when accuracy was still considered important) and that is my foundation. However, I think that picking one type of flying over another and doing nothing else is really limiting yourself. I think one should learn every aspect of maneuvering one's self through the air, whatever the dimension. If you give up the art of "belly flying" (which is the most aerodynamic and efficient form of body flight; just like an airplane using the maximum amount of control surface for maximum flight potential) for "butt + head” (ha..ha) flying, you'll never reach your full potential as a skydiver. I notice too many new skydivers opting for the "butt + head" route and not really learning how to “fly” their bodies. I think this is a mistake. I think one should learn the ropes of basic flight first "belly flying" and then progress to more advanced flying (i.e. no/limited lift dives). Just my thoughts. No offense to any "butt + heads" out there...
  4. No doubt. If I HAD a camel toe, I'd certainly post it!! They are sexy!! If I had my own camel toe, I'd probably never leave the house...
  5. I saw these two guys pulling this hurt camel on a cart through town in one of the places that I was in Afghanistan in 2002. I think he might have had a hurt camel toe. Poor camel.
  6. Eric Clapton – Crossroads Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young – Woodstock Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven
  7. I'm sure that was our intended goal. To kill Afghani and Russian schoolkids.
  8. I've only got one. Kinda breezy and flappidy for me. I just took goggles and a rig so I guess I wasn't 100%.
  9. Good point, but the flag has it's own cutaway system and is released just prior to landing. The ground crew (and there's a LOT of them) prevent the flag hitting the ground. Trust me, there's NOBODY more sensitive to this issue than Ronnie......... Excellent!!!
  10. The problem I have with jumping flags that big is with it touching the ground when you land. I know you've probably got catchers on the ground but I wouldn't think it could be prevented entirely. All the demos that I've done with flags have been with smaller ones that I personally could control and the crowd absolutely loved it. I think we've gotten to the point of sacrificing honor and respect for sensationalism and our own glory. Not to try and take anything away from your demo and I'm also not making an accusation directed at you or your team in particular. You probably have all your bases covered. I’m just making a general observation.
  11. I got there in February 95. The UN took over in March. As soon as we were put under UN control, most of our vital resources (i.e. vehicles that could stand the terrain) were taken away and we weren’t left much to do the job. I really got the feeling, especially from the foreign troops that they were there, that they were just there to show a presence and to get paid. It had not shit to do with what needed to be done. My team, as were most, was located in a remote place. Our compound was defended pretty well despite what we had to turn in due to being under UN control (some of our heavy weapons) but it could have eventually been overrun due to the sheer numbers that the Haitians had. Amazingly, a couple months later, we were told to take down our triple standard concertina barrier protection because the UN, in their infinite wisdom, said that it posed too much of a defensive posture and that we were there to display peace and harmony. Nothing pissed me off worse than that except for maybe having to wear their queer looking blue baseball caps. We facilitated their first democratic election which “of course” Aristide won. Despite the fact that many government buildings and voting stations were burned to the ground during the election. It was wonderful. I can’t think of a better solution for that place than to burn the whole thing to the ground. But it was a “success story” for Bill Clinton and the Democrat administration of the day.
  12. Well the UN SHOULD apply it evenly... Proof again that the UN is crap. Exactly... Simply proof positive, tested over a long period of time, that the UN is a worthless, weak, and ineffective organization. And the liberals want to make the US subservient to them so that we have to ask their permission to do anything and also put them in charge of the war in Iraq. Doesn't take a genius to foresee how effective that would be. I had to serve under the UN for a period of time in Haiti. We all see how that turned out. Oh…sorry. That was touted as a “success story” for Clinton. My bad...
  13. Their paragraph for September 1 sounds like a Kerry football team in the 4th quarter with no time outs left trying to kick a field goal to win the game from the 45 yard line and 2 seconds to go. Sure, given the right circumstances (wind to your back, low crowd noice, calm nerves, and a bit of luck), ...it could happen.
  14. Probably the state by state polls, since the general population means squat. Ok Battleground States
  15. What have you been looking at lately? Bush lead
  16. I never denied or have tried to hide my partisanship.
  17. The bigger idiot he keeps making himself out to be just makes it all the more easier for GWB.
  18. It's hard for me to believe that he's the best the Democrats could come up with. Don't get me wrong. I'm personally not disappointed in their choice.
  19. Wait...John...it's ok for him. It's not ok for you.
  20. Well, either way, it appears you’ll probably have to contend with the current administration “chapping’ your ass” for yet another 4 years the way things are going.
  21. Do you think there is good potential for future WMD development in the post-Hussein Iraq? Do you think that, “as a state”, Iraq is still sponsoring terrorist organizations? I think we’d be fighting the insurgency wherever we went. I know we were in Afghanistan.
