    This thread is about a lawsuit, lawyers trying to get money from a plaintiff. Opinions about risk of skydiving within the skydiving community is completely irrelevant, because if this ever gets to trial, the odds of any skydiver being on the jury is essentially zero. But the discussion may freely revolve around the legitimacy of the lawsuit - which from a skydiver's standpoint is bullshit. I do agree with you that these scumbag fucking lawyers go after everyone with any money, or potential to have money. This is one of the reasons I gave up my instructors rating. While no jumper may sit on the jury, I certainly hope "expert" witnesses will be called. It just sickens me that they will be able pay someone to say that the DZ is at fault for this.

    I was thinking the same thing when I counted. I have had one instacanopy on my 111 when I had it, with no rhyme nor reason. I've had a few "positive" openings on my 103 with the RDS on, but I can attribute those to some sloppy packing.

    I think Luongo will have a much better Game 4. Refs were just trying to keep the game under control. Loved Tim Thomas flattening Henrik Sedin and the two short-handed goals by Boston! That hit by Thomas was excellent. Laughed my ass off.

    >10 mph spread I'll usually sit down. I'll jump up to 30mph. I'll do dedicated swoop training in up to 20, if only to practice difficult setups. Also, if everyone with more experience is laughing at you while you are walking to the plane as they crack open beers....it's probably too windy.

    *sigh* if he's a nascar driver jumping into a nascar track, I am pretty sure they have their ducks in a row to have him land on what is basically their open field. Without spectators I would have a hard time calling this a demo.

    Vanc in 5 unless Boston finds a way to handle a power play that has been firing almost 30% in the playoffs....they had trouble with TB....
