hi, yeah we have a drinks night on the 4th Thursday of every month, so next months one is on the 22nd March, come along, the more the merrier! If you join the London Skydivers group (the link to it is in my signature) I'll send you an email reminder about it a week or so before the event. I'm also bowing out tonight as I'm also poorly. It's probably bad enough that I've infected all my colleagues, its not a great way to win friends and influence people if I infect my friends as well! Hi all, Just to let everyone know, this Thursday is this months London Skydivers in the Montagu Pyke. Sarah has reserved us the top area of the pub where we sometimes sit, and apparently the entire pub is now non smoking, so those of you who usually go downstairs to smoke will now have to be even more unsociable and go outside! see you Thurs, Caz ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Hi all, Just a quick note that this months drinks evening is on Thursday (25th Jan) - apologies for my slackness in giving more notice. See you there and hopefully those of you who went have all now fully recovered from the AGM, including those couple of you who insanely went to Bedford on Sunday evening - rather you than me! no Squeak, no Empuria for me this year, too many football games during that period this year. Stumpy, people should be there from about 6/6.30ish, I don't think I'm going to stay too late either as I'll have had a work 'lunch' most of the afternoon, so might not be in too fit a state to last too long into the evening! ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Ah I see, obviously slacking in knowing my acronyms! I'm fine thanks, although tired from the Christmas season already! Nevermind, 1.5 more days at work then 4 days off, then 3 days then 2 weeks off - woohoo! I saw them in Hyde Park too and yes it was very disappointing, the accoustics were terrible as it is flat there and it was a windy day. I had seen them a year or two before though in London Arena in the docklands, and they were fantastic there, wasn't long after they released Californication. They are the second best live band I have ever seen (based on the docklands gig!), the top band being Muse who were spectacular. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Always used to amuse me that people used to see Kim's doberman's (dobermen?!) and then laughed at the 'beware of the cat' signs thinking they were taking the piss, yeah right! Little bastard only got me once, but I saw his eyes glint pure evil just before he swiped me and I managed to get away with just a small scratch! RIP Bounce. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Hi all, A reminder that this months drinks evening is on the 23rd of November (next Thursday) in the Montagu Pyke on Charing Cross Road as normal, I shall send out another reminder nearer the time. Also, as our Christmas drinks night would fall between Christmas and New Year, we have decided to move it forward a couple of weeks and will be having it on the 14th December instead as a lot of people go away for the holiday season. yep, I booked my room by phone yesterday (if you look on their website it says no availability but if you ring them it's a different story). By phone it was also £47.50 for a single room which is more than big enough for 5 or 6 or 10 people though! And considerably cheaper than the £67.50 rate quoted by the BPA. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Hi all, just a reminder that tonight is the London Skydivers drinks night in the Montagu Pyke from 6pm, Vampiregirl reserved an area for us as normal, so thanks Sarah. Craig don't worry, you don't have to buy the beers for being the first dz.com moderator to attend, as we now have both you and Grosfion (occasionally!) - although you can of course buy the beers if you want to anyway. well you can get arrested for being drunk and disorderly, I don't think they charge you to keep you in the cells overnight to 'sober up'. Alternatively you could try to persuade some people to stay up partying all night and then get the first tube home. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

Hi All, This months drinks evening is on the 26th October (ie next Thursday) - same place as normal, the Montagu Pyke on Charing Cross Road, from about 6ish. Sadly I won't be able to make this one as I'm working abroad next week, but I'm sure there'll be a lot of other people there, you never know, we might get another random celeb join us again like last time! Hi all, I forgot to send out a reminder last week, but this week is our monthly get together at the Montagu Pyke on Charing Cross Road. To any new people who are thinking of coming along, we usually have a reserved area in the pub (which we pay 50p each for the priviledge!) and people start arrive from about 6-6.30 onwards. Hey there, there's usually a few people there from about 6, and then it gets busier from about 7 - if you can join us you'd be most welcome! I'm sure we all owe you all a number of beers for introducing us all to such a great bunch of people anyway. hey it actually might be a good plan you know, if we stop all those Mohammed's flying, considering Mohammed is the most popular mens name in the world, there'll be a lot less bums on seats on flights, which will lead to fewer flights which will lead to cheaper fuel costs which will bring down the cost of jump tickets! ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~
