ooooo...that is really tempting and could be a good possibility for discounted jumps. Headdown - that was more of a joke and there is NO WAY I'd attempt that with another newbie like me. Now if anyone can fly me and take me for a "taste" I am ALL OVER IT. I saw how I flailed when trying to sit and can only IMAGINE how headdown would be and I love this too much to do something stupid. I am patient (most of the time). No worries mama but thanks for your concern. Let me know what you hear about Deland...I'll make the 2 hour drive for cheap jumps - Sebass is $19. UGH! I would LOVE to have an experienced person jump there ass off with me but normally the "good guys" can either being getting someone to PAY for there services or have PLANS of there own. Just don't want the stress feeling like I owe someone for jumping with me and helping. Hence why I thought someone on my skill level heading in the same direction might want to take the ride with me. BUT HEY - if you know any "good guys" that are local to ME - point them in my direction, PALEEEEEEEASE. Coaching would be awesome too but we've ALL heard my money "whoas" ...... but hey, I'm not above bartering Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I have been very fortunate so far to have MANY great people jumping with me and helping me with my freeflying but I would LOVE more than ANYTHING to have that one pal, around the same skill level as me (or better) who has the same ambition and enthusiasm as me and just wants to jump and learn together. Ya know, meet up each weekend and KNOW we have each other to jump with and learn. Is this possible? How do you imagine the "good kids" got there start? My rig was GIVEN to me (by a wonderful friend) when I started so I could avoid those frigin rental fees....no way in hell I would have racked up the numbers I have now without it. It is a 1995 and other then the pin flap coming out once in a while (NOT very often) it has been good to me so far with my freeflying. I don't have a bridle tuck area but have a good "technique" and ALWAYS make sure that baby is safe and sound and happily tucked away. My rig is also a bit small for me and my leg strap pads coming about half way around but I have not noticed it being really uncomfortable......yet. I was trying to decide if it was worth it to get the harness upgraded to fit me or save that cash and invest in a new rig. Any thoughts? The rig came with a 135 main - but I currently have a 150 in it (since I am newer and in no rush to be speedy.....YET) so I already have my canopy to downsize when and if the time is right. My dilemna - keep this rig and "spruce it up" for a couple hundred bucks or save the cash and dump $1K into a newer rig.... OK...that's it for now. What to do - what to do! Sounds like your first year was much like mine is going to be. I did my first tandem 1/26, graduated AFF 3/1, started sitting around jump 70 (check out pic of me and BadFish pal from 2 weeks ago), am currently at 160 jumps with my C license and heading at a mad pace for D! It is awesome, without a doubt and I have not lost any speed - seem to keep finding new streets to turn down though! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I just got mine about 2 months ago (been skydiving about 6 months now) and I wear it 24/7 (sporting it with my sis in Cross Keys last weekend). It is just an awesome reminder every time I pass by a mirror or feel it on my chest of how happy this sport has made me so far. No dates or special favors to report yet because of it but I do love telling people what it is - because to a whuffo eye it just looks like a weird piece of metal ...but to me it means BEEEEEG smiles! GOOD STUFF FOR SURE! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

So Skymama...did you BUY the ticket already? If so, when you going and from where. Maybe I could tag along and finish up the SunnyDee Tour for 2003 with a bang! Congrats you! You are kicking butt!! Freefall was my down side during AFF and I repeated level 3 and 4 (ouchie to the pocket ) but I rocked under canopy. Everyone said my opinion of freefall would change and it has/did. It is ALL good stuff and I seem to find more and more reasons to love this sport. I'm also glad to think there will be another girl to play with around the DZ. Heck - I might even pull out the RW suit for a new pal - if ya want a jump partner but cute girls get lots of offers so let me know Talk to you soon. D Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

HEY YOU...........I would love to since we never got to when you were here and I seem to recall you promised me one. I am looking forward to winter believe it or not - Sebastian has been rather "quiet" these days....but I got spoiled when I started back in February.
