Well SHIT IN A HAT...why didn't I hear about this earlier. I am coming to Cross Keys the 18th - 24th and this is JUST what I need. I have 138 jumps, about 50 of them sits and I am wanting to really tighten thigns up. Average fall rate is about 140 - 150 according to Pro-Track (everyone says slow) so now I am working on playing with leg position and forward/backward movement. Well maybe I can pick some brains when I am there the week after this....See you then. Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

If anyone knows how I can possibly get a copy of the DZ.Com jump we did Sunday can ya please let me know.....I'd really appreciate it I know Trevor was on the jump and probably got video (but it takes him months to get ya stuff ( - hugs Trev) and I think Golden Knight "The Instigator" Dave also got video. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE with sugar on top! I also have to give a big thanks to Steve Lee for the unplanned but KICK ASS jump. DaGimp and I were making a jump, he asked if he could come, we did a cool exit from the Casa and lost DaGimp but this still somewhat newbie freeflyer was determined to maintain her sit and "hang". I THINK he might have been trying to offer me some docks (still not there yet) but we were really close so I did a 360 and he followed then he did a backflip and I tried it. GOOD STUFF! I can't even TELL YOU how excited I was when I came down. It was a big deal to me, especially since he was headdown most of the time. Just had to tell him thanks (even though he was probably clueless as to how much it meant to me). Besides my birdman rodeo - that was one of the next best jumps for me and it was totally unplanned. Amish made his 500th on Saturday but SUNNYDEE knew it was coming and came all the way from Florida with Cans of Whip Cream and pie plates.....as I was saying my goodbyes, Tony commandeered (sp) Amish for a good "talking to" while Pyke and I snuck up and GOT HIM GOOD! Well I am back home in Florida after yet another fun trip "away from home"....Met tons of great people, ran into some old pals (Trevor you sneaky little thang), had some AWESOME sky dives, made my first Casa jump(s), did my first rodeo and it was a birdman rodeo no less (thanks for the AWESOME ride Kev ), was talked into being a "guinea pig" for body shots (yup - another first ...love ya Pyke ) and got to pie Amish (MattM) with some yummy Florida Whipped Cream and then kiss it off his young non-smiling little face just before I left....it was perfect! Good weekend, good fun, good freinds! Thanks to all! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Well Raeford gang.....I just walked in the door of my house - it's 12:07 am, gotta be to work at 7:30 and yet I find myself here - already jonesing to talk to the new pals. Glad to be home yet feel a bit sad once again having said goodbye to more new pals....but we will all cross paths soon again...RIGHT?!?!!?!?!?! Trip was good fun - big thanks to ALL who made the Raeford trip a "NOICE" one. We DEFINITELY were not sucking in Raeford this weekend!!!! Talk to everyone real soon.... I have pondered the thought of jumping from a balloon and a helicopter since I started skydiving a few months ago. But now that I understand more about skydiving and relative wind, and know that in both situations I would be starting with zero speed and might actually feel that "falling feeling" which people THINK skydivers feel when jumping, I am so up in the air about it..... Does anyone have a suggestion as to how many jumps you should have before you consider a jump from a ballooon or helicopter? Does it matter? Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Thanks everyone....I think I'll just take a DEEEEEEP Breath (like a pal suggested) and go with the flow. If NC is like FL then I am sure to get "some" jumps in and I HAVE to meet everyone now that we have been talking for so long. I am just curious of the weather since according to "my seeing", it is not looking favorable for skydiving in the North Carolina area. I KNOW - I KNOW....is the weather guy ever right? But I am supposed to get on the road and drive almost 11 hours to skydive and if it is going to be shit weather, I might rethink it. Hey Cora....I remember us talking on Blether about this potentially happening and you not knowing what to do about a move....see - like someone said above. We can find a little piece of good in all things. Plus "POP" is moving to CAL sometime soon so maybe it will be near ya and you all can make jumps on weekends....He's a good guy and does great last minute pack jobs so pals can say goodbye to new pals and get to the airport on time Best of luck to you sweetie and make sure to stay in touch.....with your new dz.com pals. Well we need to get a GOOD raft because I have now seen 3 raft jumps in the last month and ALL of them had the bottom fall out and then the jump went to shit! PhreeZone should be the camera guy....I was always curious what ya do with the raft when you are done...and who gets stuck holding it until the end....Need to have a BIG POW WOW on this jump.
