I've met so many great people this summer on the "Tour" and there are so many I've talked with through "dizzy" that I still want to meet. I kinda thought there was TONS of fun partying going on but it seems some of the "fun" got a bit out of hand.....people gotta do what they gotta do to keep "the masses" happy (and safe). We need to learn how to control (or at least curve) our appetite for fun - at least when alcohol and bunches of other skydivers are involved. We are a crazy bunch! I camped with Skydive Fort Wayne that is actually in Angola now....It was a fun jump for sure (first 3 way flower...BEER!) and I wished we could have jumped more. I felt a bit obligated to jump with my pal, who is just learning his sit, since we traveled there together. Next time I'll just have to excuse myself so I can play with some of my other friends. How funny that I ran into your brother when I got there and was wondering if it was you (guess cause I had my idea what you might look like) and then found out later it was your Bro. Funny I'll see ya for sure again next year. How's those grass scratches, silly boy?! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Yes it was.......it was kinda like a "taste test" of what you could have if you really got into CRW. After this weekend and seeing what great formations the CRW dogs can do - it made me look at it with even more awe. But I also was scared to death sitting near them in the planes with all this "stuff" sticking out of there rigs

I've been watching Southwest (and I have to say - after my flight to Richmond - I'll use Southwest whenever I can). What a fun, upbeat little airline - guess that is because it is employee run. It was just a great vibe and they were like normal people....AND WE GOT 2 SNACKS I'll check into it again tonight. It's so nice to feel wanted

Well I got my D in just 6 months TO THE DAY. I think my next objective will be to save up the cash and invest in some coaching, since my honey isn't always available to help me. I want to get on my head.........I am doing great with headdown exits but not so great at actually holding them once off the hill. All in time......got lots of that! Thanks everyone..............I am one happy ass little camper, for sure! Kramer - got to Lake Wales around 11, was able to make 2 loads then had lunch and hoped rain would pass but no luck, then had a 2 hour drive home - will call next time - promise! As for "The Tour"....think it is just about over since vacation time is depleted and cash flow is operating on reserves. Well I can't even begin to say how happy I am. I have busted my butt the last few months and after my great weekend in Richmond, I left the Boogie having made my 200th jump from the SkyVan. We did not get altitude cause clouds rolled in but due to some tandems, we got the load up - they unfortunately came back down with the plane but I exited with Stuey from Monkey Claw and pal Jameson to "complete the mission" (got picture of the whole gang afterwards also - will attach tomorrow). Faxed all the paperwork in bright and early this morning and am anxious to see what kind of number I get......Good stuff for sure! Now I am trying to determine what my next "goal" might be...Got the new log book, and already started filling it with jumps - 2 headdown attempts at Lake Wales yesterday with my boyfriend Greg. I've got a handful of them under my belt now and yesterday was the first time I actually felt the air headdown and was comfortable. This has just been a great year so far........and it's not over yet. Thanks to everyone who has been part of the adventure so far.....hugs Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Yes it was...despite the rain and wind and chill in the air, lotsa loads went up and I personally had a blast. Met some new pals, witnessed some "shinanagins" and was able to provide some first aid assistance and made my 200th jump! The Skydive Fort Wayne was MORE THAN hospitable and I can't even begin to thank them for all they did....and then I have to give a BIG THANKS to the Richmond staff for helping fellow skydiver get a ride home on Sunday night (and what a "Mac-Daddy" ride back it was..............thanks Mike). It was a great Boogie and I will for sure be back next year! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
