Well I'm not sure this was a "real 15 minute of fame" but it felt like it for me.....Was in Raeford actually.....Was planning my last jump of the weekend with DaGimp and Steve Lee comes up and asked to join on (AAAHHHH - my heart started pounding cause I know he is a BAD ASS FLIER and I am a NEW freeflier).....so we exit the Casa, Dagimp backslides to God knows where and there I am, flying like it was nothing (not a foot from Steve Lee), holding my slot while he was docking all over me....GOOD STUFF!!!!! Not a big deal you say - was to me since I had like 30 sit jumps at that time and was able to "hang with a WAY cool kid". Got a picture of him signing my log book afterwards ( I had a big cheesey smile) and he had NO CLUE how he just made my day..... So was that my "15 minutes of fame"?.....maybe not but it's a story I love to relive for sure! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Just wondering if I picked you up when you were walking from your hotel on way to DZ......have fun in Deland - it's a cool DZ but make sure to stop at Sebass if you can.....me love me home DZ!!!!

So who else is going to be able to make this statement with me in November? I almost did a chopped jump at Richmond but knew I was hitting the Keys Boogie and I KNOW how beautiful it is there...... I got it too....and also bought the musci book to go with it so my guy can play the songs to me! No better turn on then having a S.O. that can play guitar (good) and sing (good) and skydives (amazingly)! Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

YOU MADE THEM SNAZZY DRAWERS? Good for you my friend. For $20? Are you pulling my leg? Are you a seamstres by night (by day)? Well good for you - think I might opt to buy something since I don'th ave access to a sewing machine so after I purchased one and THEN the materials and THEN spent the time...you get my point. Yup yup...always a picture of me floating around somewhere. But almost like these days I've been so many places people are familiar with the real thing.....I've been very fortunate in so many ways....Tons of places, tons of great pople and lots of good jumps! Take a look at "Events and Gatherings" about the Keys Boogie. Sure would hate to think anyone would miss is for simple lack of planning when it couldn't be made any easier then it is now.... Plus I want to start a "countdown" thread..........haven't done one of those in a few trips So who am I gonna see in November? Any first time chopter jumpers? I've been thinking Kurupee for just that reason...cheap but also the guy who makes them has been around our DZ and I am pals with one of his roommates (although he has a girlfriend now and doesn't jumpmuch any more )..... For a starter suit, they seem to be decent but I have also heard some of the seams come undone. I teeter between investing in something better and waiting or having something now and saving a few bucks.... Only time will tell...depends on my mood as to what I might do. Hell - maybe I'll hit up Target' and just get some regular old long pants with pockets. Regular clothes have done me well this far..... bla bla bla....thanks! ok fine...so it's not the WHOLE gang but it is a few who helped me make my 200th. Too bad we ended up having to exit the aircraft at 6,500 feet instead of altitude....Finally snag some monkey claw time (free) and don't get to take advantage. Next time.... Oh yeah.....just make sure your "spotter" knows what jump run is (Love ya Stuey...) Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

Yup...Stuey is a cool one for sure but make sure he knows jump run before he spots for ya ....he planned my 200th for me but ended up due to clouds we only got to 6500 so didn't have time to play...DAMN IT! TJ...now there is a wild and crazy kinda guy - always looking for trouble...I mean, fun
