  1. Nice dodge, please read my question again.
  2. Certainly. Now it remains to see what they got the money for: But then you say: Which is it?
  3. I'd give it as much credibility as markharju's personal first hand knowledge of churches in Edinburgh, Scotland.
  4. One thing you definitely share with Trump, is your inability to admit being wrong. It's clear in the contract, money will only change hands IF: the vaccine was approved Pfizer delivered the doses And only AFTER the above 2 conditions were met would the money be paid out. Since the vaccine was developed in Germany, you have contacts there?
  5. I'm not sure you know how purchase contracts work. But then again, you don't know a lot of things and you keep claiming you do.
  6. Nice, keep digging. So the left owns some of it because they failed to defeat Trump? That's like saying the rape victim owns some of it because he/she failed to overpower the attacker in close quarters combat, because they were overconfident that they were safe and let their guard down. Edit to add: a Capitol Police officer is now reported to have died from injuries from the riots.
  7. I cannot stress this enough - I really hope you're right.
  8. Like a vaccine, democracy will only work if a certain percentage of the population is well informed enough to sustain it. Democracy is part of the social contract, so it really only lives in the minds of people. Not in buildings or inanimate objects. So what's quite shocking here is fake news appears to be more contagious than measles. This will be more difficult to fight than covid-19.
  9. Good point, but: Right now he still has the nuclear launch codes. A man who once pondered using them against a hurricane. There weren't any nukes back in the Civil War.
  10. No, what now has truth in it is that I've met 9-year-olds with a bigger sense of responsibility than you do. Own your mistakes. They have consequences. 4 people are now dead.
  11. But when Trump beat Hillary, a mob didn't storm the Capitol, smash windows and plant explosives. We complained, a lot, but this is something else.
  12. Just bringing this up again about the Georgia recount. Yet you supported an insurrection.
  13. Hopefully, the House will be cleared soon too.
  14. It's the same as covid-19 cases being caused by so much testing. Also how pregnancy tests cause pregnancies. It's because we test so much.
  15. One in 1,000 Americans have now died from Covid-19. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-death-toll-coronavirus-b1779173.html Not even 100% of Americans have caught it yet (actually, only 6% have tested positive), and 0.1% of the population has died. Some flu, huh?
  16. And god forbid that Big Brother makes it a requirement to have training and a license to drive a vehicle, or to make registration of vehicles driven on roads to be mandatory. /s
  17. 300,000. The winning just won't stop. /s
  18. If I was a wind tunnel operator, I would be very very reluctant to sell tunnel time to Ron.
  19. The concept is NOT that it's your fault, it's just that you benefit from it. awww sowwy that your feelings were hurt. Would you like a safe space?
  20. With zingers such as the number of mosques in Edinburgh, especially for us in the UK, your track record of truth isn't very good.
  21. I think the main problem now is that he's using his personal experience to make his argument, so unless he brings other arguments in he becomes part of the topic.
  22. Money is just paper (or plastic or cotton) or numbers in a computer. We have a very complicated system of creating it, moving it around, assigning it to physical goods - but in the end it's just a medium for transferring value. We can change the system, because we created it. But if people die, no amount of economic fixing will bring them back. And if they were productive members of society, we lose the benefit of what they could have contributed had they lived.
  23. For the MagniX electric caravan they flew this summer, what was the weight of that aircraft? Are they already using large-bandgap semiconductors? If not, does he think they will help increase efficiency? Are the batteries actively cooled? Can he share any details on their thermal runaway containment strategy?
  24. Read the book called "The Psychology of Persuasion" by Robert Cialdini. It provides scientific explanations to the phenomenon (after all, cults are not new) in a very accessible and fun to read book.
